*Currently in the first stage of the three-year plan: defining an effective teacher and identifying the measures.

July-August Progress
Planning: Developed a comprehensive project plan and communication plan for the next months and the coming year. Interviews: Conducted 50+ interviews with multiple district stakeholders to gather perspectives on the current reality and future vision for DISD teacher evaluation interviewees included central office, teacher organizations, senior executive directors, principals and assistant principals Committee structure: Organized committee structure with multiple stakeholder groups that will be instrumental in conducting this important work. Research and design: Made progress in documenting current teacher evaluation systems, and defining the design questions that need to be confronted in developing a new system.
