Preface
About Preparation for TOEIC Reading Test is designed specifically to develop the test-taking and language skills that students will need to do well on the reading test of TOEIC. This book is designed as a module of TOEIC preparation course for class XII semester 1 of SMA N 2 Yogyakarta students. The module is proposed to help teacher in teaching TOEIC preparation test especially in reading test for students of SMA N 2 Yogyakarta. This teachers book is designed based on the needs of teacher. Hopefully the teacher could teach well for 2 x 45 minutes by using the procedure on this book.

This teachers book contains two parts of unit namely, incomplete sentence and error recognition. Before starting to use this book, you would be given a lesson plan or an alternative plan at the beginning of this book to help you in handling your class. Each part on this book, there are some tips or steps to answer the questions on the exercise. At the end of this book, the writer provides the key answer of the questions both in part 1 and part 2.

How to use this book This book is designed for you as a teacher to prepare your teaching preparation of TOEIC test. This book contains a lesson plan and an alternative plan to help you in teaching your class. So, at the beginning of using this book please understand the procedure and the lesson plan before teaching your students. You could also use your own lesson plan, if it isnt suitable with your mind. Start to teach your students by explaining the rule/procedure of the material. Dont forget to give examples and tactics to helping them in answering the questions. You could use the examples and tactics on this book. At the end of this book, the

writer provides the key answer of the questions both in part 1 and part 2 to help you in discussing the answers. If you dont understand about the materials, please ask your tutor or teacher.

PART 1: Incomplete Sentence Directions: In your test book, you will see a sentence with a missing word. Four possible answers follow the sentence. Choose the best answer to the question and fill in the corresponding oval on your answer sheet.

First decide what part of speech is needed on the missing sentences. Find the answer choices of the correct type. Manage your time wisely Try to predict possible answers before you look at the answer choices. Dont waste time on questions you dont know.
