Burning of the canes is a celebration to mark the end of winter, pruning
and to welcome in the start of the new season with budburst in the vineyard.
Join in the spirit with a tutored walking tour of Whispering Brooks vineyard,
olive grove and winery followed by a discovery wine tasting experience.
Taste the slow cooked food prepared on a fre pit infused with aromas of
vineyard canes from the winters pruning season. Experience a menu of slow
cooked meats and accompaniments followed by mouth watering desserts.
Wine and olive oil discovery experiences will feature on both days along
with live musical entertainment Saturday afternoon.

Discover what happens in a winery and enjoy an
educational and enlightening taste of diferent
wine varietals from diferent vintages.
Compare older vintages of a wine to younger ones
to see how a wine typically ages from the same
vineyard site and learn to recognise wine aromas
and bouquets.
