PRESS RELEASE to be reported Cancer Care Funding as A Birthday Celebration for Apple Indonesia inc. We want to help the right people, who really need help,Dunari Iskandar, Head of Project.

Jakarta, 1 July 2011 - Apple Indonesia has just announced their new Cancer Care Fund with initial donation (coming from their own pockets) as much as 1.2 billion rupiah, as a way to celebrate their birthday next year, at 1st April 2012, and as homage to Steve Jobs (Apple CEO), who is knowingly a cancer patient. Also, they are planning to donate 15 percent of their sales per product to this fund.

Apple Indonesia is going to accept letters from people who are less fortunate and in need of help (or in case, people representing them), and go trough research to decide for the nominal usage, to wichever hospital the patient choose. Eventhough the prior money we have is only enough for about 30 patient, I believe that we can help more in time, until April next year. Said the head of project, Dunari Iskandar. This is not just one time project: this is on-going. And it is all as a homage to Apple and Steve Jobs himself, as quoted.

Dunari also stated that Apple Indonesia is working together with YKI (Yayasan Kanker Indonesia) in order to determine whos in need of the fund. The future checking and research, and maybe some choosement will be with YKI helps, Dunari said, We want to help the right people, who really need help.
