Hand Drawing.
Sketching by hand is an important part of the design process. I have developed my drawing skills whilst at University to a point where I feel con dent sketching my ideas as soon as they develop, which is important in the concept generation stage of a design process.

Illustrator &Photoshop Renders.

ese are just a few examples of renders produced using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. e technique makes use of gradient lls and meshes, and the dodge and burn tools.

Renders in Situ.
For much of my design work Ive edited my products into a real world photo to demonstrate how its intended to be used.

Packaging Design.
e brief for this project was set by Regal, a Swedish food packaging company, who asked us to redesign their our packaging. ey set us the challenge of using Kansei engineering to produce emotional desirable packaging. My design was chosen by the company out of those submi ed to them and made into a prototype.

Packaging Design.
e brief for this project was to choose a well know brand and create packaging for some form of confectionary that encourages sharing. My chosen brand was Veuve Clicquot, and I used their iconic yellow label aesthetic to create a simple exterior tube that houses a exible ower form, with the ower heads holding the chocolate liquors.

Design and Marketing.

is was my nal year University project. I designed and produced a prototype of an asthma inhaler with the aim of encouraging children to use it more frequently than they use current inhalers. To accompany the project I also produced a detailed business plan and marketing materials.
Plug inhaler into your computer with the USB cable provided The software will automatically load the main page You can personalise your character so that it looks just like you! Track your progress with the charts and graphs and learn all about how to manage your symptoms with the various quizes and games For help using the software view the FAQ section on our website www.asthmainTune.com

Using your inTune inhaler

The inTune inhaler makes asthma management unbelievably easy. Its operating method is simple and intuitive, your medication is released when you breathe in through the mouth piece ensuring that the prescribed dose is delivered straight to your lungs. Not only this but it can keep track of how much youre using the inhaler and record your peak ow results to create a complete asthma diary. This booklet is a simple guide explaining how to use your inTune inhaler. Use the right and left buttons to choose which mode you want the inhaler in. The screen will show you the active mode. Each of these modes will be explained in this booklet. GOOD

When you have the device set to INHALER mode this screen will be shown:

Peak Flow
When you have the device set to PEAK FLOW mode this screen will be shown: Breathe into the hole in the back of the device shown on the diagram.

First of all give the inhaler a little shake. Then simply bring the inhaler up to your mouth, and breath in through the mouth piece (highlighted on the product in yellow). Take a nice long deep breath (dont stop breathing in when the inhaler pu s). Try to hold your breath for as long as you can, aim to hold it for 10 seconds. Now relax :) The screen display will then change to tell you if you just used the inhaler well or not. If you used it well and breathed in for long enough and held your breath it will say GOOD. If you didnt do so well itll either say OK or BAD, which means you need to work on your technique. For hints and tips on how to use it better check out the software. There are quizzes and games there too!

Its important that you force your breath out as hard as you can.

InDesign.
I used InDesign to produce a brochure page detailing my nal year University project. It explains the background research I compiled, a brief summary of the product and images showing its construction and use.

Work Experience.
I was asked by Li leman Contracts, Northampton, to produce some images they could use on their website and send out to potential clients as examples of their work.
