Connection NodeB <-> PC (TIL Connection)

Connect Ethernet Cable (Cross) from PC to Port 2 CCM/iCCM at NodeB side

Set the IP address in PC

Open Internet Explorer and type address as below:

Type in username and path.

Username is the login name for windows
Path is where the log file want to be stored

For the 1st time connection please follow the procedure as seen on the
browser
Installation Guidelines for Til Applet

Click on start button to start TIL

TIL window will appear

Software Download

Select the delivery file and press the choose delivery file button

Activate the new software: Activation and iBTS reset

Click on OK

Wait for 5 Minutes then re-connect to BTS

Make sure the new software version activated

First Commissioning

Select Update MCA with default value and click OK

Acknowledge pop-up window as below

Reset BTS in Stand alone mode

Acknowledge the 2 warning window by pressing OK

BTS Re-connection

Change I&C parameter

Go to BTS

Change according to Document delivered with BTS (inside envelope). Below is

the eg for Indoor 12010:

Click on button Send to iBTS

If pop window like below appear, just press YES

Reset BTS in Stand alone mode

Acknowledge the 2 warning window by pressing OK

BTS Re-connection

Check MS (MCA Status LED display) is green, if not or KO apply the

maintenance operation.

Visually check that the information contained in the TIL boards screen
complies with the BTS configuration:
Using information displayed at the bottom of the screen (refer to Figure 35):
Check the Software Reference
Check the BTS type
Verify that the Serial Number is the same as the Serial Number given in
section 2 of
the report sheet.
If abnormal check occurred, contact the site coordinator before going on.

Example of TIL Screen

For TRM and CEM, check that:

SB (StandBy state) status is orange (board is in cold stand-by).
AS (Administrative state) status is green (board is unlocked).
Note: Cold stand-by means that board is detected in digital shelf, but not
operational and also notconfigured.

Check with AL (ALarm) status that no boardappears in alarms (red color),

except for GPSAM board with the expected alarms.
