4.2.3 Calibrate Programmable Goniometer Angles
For channels assembled on a programmable goniometer, the exact two-theta angle can be obtained using the “Cali-
brate Programmable Goniometer Angle” option. A step scan is made over the peak and the results are displayed as a
‘bar graph. In the calibration procedure, the zero offset must be calibrated first using one goniometer channel as aroter-
ence, then the angle is calibrated for each of the other goniometer channels.
