PURPOSE To find a position that will make the most of my enthusiasm for web application architecture and development, provide a challenging and exciting environment, and offer the opportunity for future growth. TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS I enjoy building big, complex web applications. Traditionally, that has meant ASP.NET mixed with SQL Server 2008 and a C# back end. Lately, however, Ive also been using Ruby on Rails and PHP tied to MySQL or SQLite. IE6 was fun, but now that we have modern browsers I use unobtrusive Javascript, CSS3, and semantic HTML5 to provide a rich user experience. I prefer libraries like JQuery, Prototype.js, and Modernizr to get up and running quickly. The only thing I enjoy more than implementing web applications are the Architecture and Design phases. Ive had plenty of experience with Object Oriented analysis/design and Relational Database theory/design. RESTful design and MVC architecture make me happy. Id be remiss if I didnt mention the tools I use every day: Firebug, Fiddler, and Textmate. Visual Studio, Team System, and SQL Server Managment Studio (query analyzer, profiler).
