BRIEFING RIOLUCIN

BACKGROUND COMPANY:
Bertrand Russell School Objective: Educate the student into a problematic and significant character proposal based in projects, with emphasis in audiovisual communication, for him to respond to competitive contexts into the solution of his community and natural environment problems. Mission: The Bertrand Russell School is Educative Institution dedicated to the comprehensive training in terms of knowledge, with a really deep intention to develop the person of the student as an autonomous, disciplined and responsible being. This aspect is evident in the curriculum school activities and in the research intention trough projects focused to the audiovisual communication technologies that allow further into the study of the causes of the relevant problems of the society, with the finality of assume innovative solutions. Vision: Being leaders in the framework of the innovating pedagogical structures of basic, middle and work education, trough the application of new audiovisual communication technologies into interdisciplinary research process of local, regional and national

culture and environment approaches, applied trough productive projects.

ANALYSIS PRODUCT:
The documentary we are doing seeks to break the imagination barrier, using as a tool the mixture between reality and fiction (docudrama) to talk about a universal subject thats a directly issue to humanity as is the carelessness of the rivers and the fatal consequences in its ecosystem, reflected on the impact of the urban develop in the population, leaving apart the costumes, habits, lifestyles, in a nutshell a story that was forever forgotten. The way to tell narrate whats happening on the Cold River (Rio Fro), Cha is going to be trough a staging in which are involved two key characters, who are going to be the principal characters of our story and will guide the audience to endless emotions and opposing positions. This is what we will see: Santiago, the youngest, is sitting on a bench looking to the landscape while we meditates about his life until, abruptly, Iro, an old and mysterious man, decides to sit next to him, invading part of his personal space. The old man starts to tell him a story witch at first appears innocent, about a river that was abandoned because of the urbanization around it. After finishing the story, the stranger stands up willing to leave, but curiously he doesnt walk to the avenue or to the city, yet he walks towards the river, plunges and disappears with the watercourse, taking behind him an endless trail of garbage y worst leaving a bitter feeling tattooed in the thoughts of the youth. Regarding the technical, as Iro relates the story its accompanied by images according to the narrative. In the most critical points the images will pass fast and with a shocking content about the river

ant its issues, served with strong audio to give importance to what its taking about. An other point to talk about, is that we want to cause a feeling of harshness towards the subject, for which before the recording modify and play with the colors of the camera, using blue hue, to produce a cold effect. Finally, the location, makeup and wardrobe, will have previous montage to reach a direct connection with the audience and to reach the purpose if the documentary.

PACKAGING:
Advertising campaign: Considering that our documentary pretends to promote the environmental care, we are going to work with recyclable materials like: cardboard, cans, CDs, newspapers, recycled paper, egg cartons, bottles, magazines, etc. Since our target audience is teenagers we think it-s really important to have campaigns trough social networks as Facebook, Twitter, My Space, etc. creating groups, invitations, transmitting information, images, videos, news, etc. Expectation campaign: We want a campaign that creates a real expectative of what we promote. Ideas: y Cover the up part of some trashcans with a critical about society and a sentence of expectative.

y Bus stop: In the chair will be an announcement.

Launch campaign: It will be develop in the same places of the expectation campaign. y Interaction with the public: The integrants of Contra Corriente will visit different parks of Cha dress in white. And briefly tell about the documentary giving the information about the launch. y Performance: Present a performance about the documentary in different public places of Cha. If the documentary and the publicity show the expected results in Cha, the same campaigns will be applied in Bogota.

SLOGAN:

LOGO:
Our logo is the name of our group divided in 2, up and down. CONTRA its up, in letters that seems barbed wire fence, which means a wall that ends the attitudes and tendencies that affect the environment. Corriente is down and backwards, doing 180 degrees twist, in Stencil font to generate an impact and leave a print on the audience. The capitals Cs form a film tape indicating that we are an audiovisual group. The colors of the logo are white and black, because white generates harmony, purity and peace, and black represents elegance, power and authority.
