SAP E-Recruiting covers the whole recruiting supply chain, from planning and budgeting to attracting candidates, hiring, and retaining employees. TRADITIONAL RECRUITING VS . TALENT WAREHOUSE SAP E-Recruiting is powered by a talent warehouse, an advanced database that a l l o w s r e c r u i t e r s t o p l a n f o r, f i n d , t r a c k , and manage potential employees and external candidates. As opposed to traditional reactive recruiting process that springs into action upon vacancies, the talent warehouse is a proactive database where internal and external candidates register their interests and skills for positions before they become available. IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS Finding an implementation partner was not easy because SAP E-Recruiting is an emerging technology that incorporates many associated SAP technical skill sets. In addition, Intervoice had lofty objectives for the ultimate recruiting solution, a limited budget, and an aggressive implementation timeframe. Intervoice dedicated two part-time internal resources (one functional business, one technical) to help guide the implementation process. Even with these limited resources, the extensive-scoped ERecruiting project was taken live in only 16 weeks.
