Part One: SELF SURVEY You will be handed a hard copy of a 15-item survey. You have 20 minutes to accomplish it. Part Two: SURVEY ANALYSIS

There is only one way to create something (the Universe). No one can dictate the standards in deciding which piece of music is better than the other. I believe there are several reasons to why criminals do what they do, and some reasons are more founded than others. There are many theories that describe the functions of the brain. Some theories are better founded than others. I believe lying is wrong in general; however, in some situations, it can be permissible, if it is done for the greater good. No one can dictate the standards in deciding which book is better than the other. There are many possible explanations of how children learn language; however, some explanations can be proven to be more founded than others through evidences. People should take responsibility of both themselves and others; however, in some situations, people should take more responsibility of one over the other. Both views should be respected and acknowledged. There can only be one view, which is ultimately correct. This can be proven through analysis of consequences. There is only one absolute explanation to how World War II began. There can only be one absolute truth to what actually happens after death. Atoms can only be made up of certain group of constituents God is supernatural and cannot be simply explained by one idea. There are many possible explanations about God, but some explanations can be more correct than others.

Record your response per item under Column A using the following codes: OO: ONLY ONE OF THE VIEWS IS RIGHT. MR: ONE VIEW CAN BE MORE RIGHT THAN THE OTHER. ER: ONE VIEW CANNOT BE MORE RIGHT THAN THE OTHER. Under Column B, record the responses that obtained the highest frequency in your LC. You may want to put the numbere.g., OO (3/5). Discuss your response per item with your Learning Circle, as well as your reasons for them. Aim for a consensus for every item. Do NOT agree based on sheer numbers. Indicate the consensus answer of your LC under Column C and your reasons (and other remarks) under Column D.

Part Three: CLASS DISCUSSION Part Four: PROCESSING After the class discussion, indicate your epistemological world view (or theory of knowledge) per domain.

Religion

I acknowledge and respect the beliefs of other religions. I believe there is no ultimate way to know the truth behind religion. This is where a strong faith in a belief comes in handy. The human brain is very complex, and I believe there is no way to absolutely classify theoretically human behavior. There are many ways, but no one correct way. Many scientists have formulated different theories to explain the world around us. Many of them have proven to be more accurate than others. Different people have different views regarding how morally correct an act can be. However, there are some views that have proven to be more correct than others because of the different consequences of the acts I respect the views and opinions of other people regarding different pieces of art, and I believe that no authority has the absolute right to dictate what is beautiful or what is not. Yes, there are standards, but these only serve as guides.

In our Theory of Knowledge class, we are invited to view each of the different Areas of Knowledge in a middle line type of view. We are invited not to merely accept the facts given us, nor turn down every other idea bestowed upon us. We are invited to analyze every Knowledge Issue that may be brought upon by a certain topic in a certain Area of Knowledge. We are also invited to evaluate every Knowledge Claim coming from these different Knowledge Issues. In being an Evaluativist, we can be more active in our view of the Areas of Knowledge.
