Bella Vita was born in 2010 but our story is much older than that.

. Our founders lifelong friends and family have been living the good life together since the 1970s. We grew up together, played sports together and watched each other become husbands and fathers. And along the way, we moved apart all going to different colleges and settling down throughout the Midwest (three of us landing here in Madison). But no matter how far apart we've gotten, we've always found reasons to get back together and enjoy some good food and good drinks whether it's to enjoy a big high school football win, stand up in each other's wedding, celebrate our children's birthdays or just to live it up on a lucky weekend when we all happen to be in the same city. Food and drinks brought us together in a special way, teaching us all that the secret to living the bella vita starts with good food and good friends. And now that we have Bella Vita as our permanent hangout, we invite you to join us in an atmosphere that reflects our own friendship relaxed and casual yet still something that will make you want to celebrate every moment.
