Soul Mates, Twin Flames,

And
Karmic Partners

The Spiritual Dimension of Love and Relationships; the

quest for love and for that perfect mate is really a quest
for wholeness, and there are three types of romantic
relationships that help lead one to this wholeness: twin
flames, soul mates and karmic relationships.
Soul Mates, Twin Flames, and Karmic Relationships

Twin Flames
Twin flames were created together in the beginning
and share a unique destiny. Created in a single fiery
ovoid, they were separated into two spheres of
being—one in a masculine polarity and the other in a
feminine polarity—but each with the same pattern of
divine identity. Though they spend some lifetimes
together and others apart, their tie is eternal, and after
they have each united with their Higher Self they will
be together forever. But not all the beautiful and soul
fulfilling loves are those of twin flames.
Soul Mates
A soul mate tie is different from that of the twin flame.
Whereas we each have only one twin flame, we can
have many soul mates. Soul mates sometimes share
a complementary calling in life. They are partners and
helpmates who are often working to develop the same
virtues and to master the same chakras. These
relationships tend to be harmonious and satisfying,
and such kindred souls can accomplish great things
together.
Karmic Relationships
Then there is the karmic relationship. Here the two
individuals are drawn together for the balancing of
mutual karma. The karmic tie may be the tightest of
all and begin with the strongest attraction. This is
because the soul has a deep yearning to be free, and
has an inner knowing that this connection is a key to
resolution through balancing karma that is often
harsh, such as violence, hatred, abandonment or
even murder. From time to time, there is a feeling of
emptiness, a loneliness that reveals the inadequacy
of a relationship based solely on karma. Yet though
they are frequently difficult, these relationships are
important in achieving self-mastery on the spiritual
path.

Part One Summery

Almost everyone experiences all three types of

relationships over the course of their lifetimes. The
key to wholeness in all of them is to love their
predestined soul.

A Kabalistic Counsel on Soul Mates

“If and when an individual, while growing up follows the Sefirotic
pattern for growth and maturity as outlined in the ancient texts; the
chances are that due to proper Sefirotic alignment he/she will draw to
themselves their intended soul mates without too much difficulty.
However, not everyone is so blessed to be raised in such a balanced
spiritual way. Most of us have had to suffer the confusions of the
bankrupt morals of western culture, which unfortunately has even
penetrated deep into the heart of the most Orthodox communities.”

“Keep in mind that sexuality is the doorway to spirituality. When we

mess up sexually by being active at too early an age and in all the
wrong ways, this takes a definite toll on our spiritual selves.”

Twin Flames, Soul Mates, & Karmic Partners

: The Marriage Union

The Marriage Union

God has blessed the human institution of marriage as an opportunity for two
individuals to develop wholeness through the exchange of their Alpha-Omega
polarities. Whether the union of twin flames, soul mates, or karmic partners, the
marriage of man and woman is meant to be mystical, a commemoration of the
soul's reunion with the beloved “I AM” presence through the Christ, the blessed
Mediator.

Jesus demonstrated the importance of marriage as an initiation on the Path when

he chose to perform his first public miracle at the marriage feast of Cana—
changing the water into wine. The essence of his message was that unless
marriage was transformed by the Holy Spirit, it will only be an outer experience.
It is our choice as to whether we are content with a marriage based on the water
of the human consciousness or whether we require a marriage based on the
wine of the divine consciousness.

The cosmic interchange of divine love in the marriage relationship is meant to be

the same creative love that framed the universe in the beginning when God as
Father gave forth the command, "Let there be light," and God as Mother
answered, "And there was light." This creative flow can be expressed not only in
physical union but also during cycles of dedicated celibacy as each partner goes
within to commune with his beloved I AM Presence.

The Exchange of Energies

The exchange of the energies of the sacred fire in sexual union is for the transfer
of spheres of cosmic consciousness— causal bodies of light. The light energy
resulting from this fusion enhances the positive qualities of each of the partners
and strengthens their own divine identity—enabling them to carry their shared
burden of karma.
As the union is consecrated to the love of God, the harmonious blending of pure
Father/Mother energies yields the Son, the Christ consciousness—whether it be
in the form of a child, an inspiration, a successful enterprise, or a work of art.

When this exchange is not spiritualized through recognition that God is the lover
and the beloved, the two individuals may experience physical pleasure, but they
also unknowingly take on each other's karmic patterns attracting much
unnecessary suffering without the benefit of a spiritually Trans-mutative love.

This may explain the frequent feeling of falling out of love, loneliness, and the
identity crises suffered by those who have intimate relationships on a casual
basis; these individuals take on so many karmic identities, effectively neutralizing
their own, that they no longer know who they really are.
The Yearning for Wholeness

The oncoming Aquarian age is an age for the understanding of God's energy in
polarity as the masculine and feminine principles of the universe. How we
experience that energy as our true identity, how we understand it as the essence
of twin flames, and how we use it as the integrative power of divine love for the
betterment of mankind will determine whether or not we survive as individuals
and, ultimately, as a human race.

Part Two Summery

You may be reading this article because the only thing that stands between you
and your soul mate, twin flame, or karmic lover is a layer of negative energy just
waiting to be consumed by the joyous, bubbling action of the violet flame.
Your mission, and that of your predestined partner; is to achieve the ultimate
reunion in the heart of God that has waited for you so long!
THE KARMIC LAW OF LOVE RELATIONSHIPS

“The karmic law of Love Relationships is that each partner

will usually manifest or attract a partner with their same deficiencies or
fears because the ultimate goal of love relationships is the full flowering
of each partner in their own inner joy and perfection”

by Allen L Roland

True relationship is a dance of intimacy ( a means to an end versus an

end in itself ) wherein both partners continually take hold and let go ~
leading eventually to true SELF, inner joy and validation and the
courage and freedom to fully express and sing ones own true song .
As such, the true intent of relationship is the full flowering of each
partner. Thus, relationship must be seen as a journey towards self
discovery and the path is always through doors of fear.

Telihard de Chardin said it best when he wrote ~ "The only right love is
that between couples whose passion leads them both, one through the
other, to a higher possession of their being."
Authentic relationship begins when both partners realize that their quest
will be fulfilled not in any " perfect relationship, " but only when they
reunite with their authentic self, which is always trapped within a prison
of childhood fears ~ especially Fear of Abandonment, Fear of Intimacy,
Fear of Rejection, Fear of Aloneness and finally Fear that Being myself
is not enough.

This is precisely what I do in my short term therapy ~ I take people

through their deepest fears by jump starting their hearts and
reconnecting them to the love and joy that is deepest within them.
It only takes seven counseling sessions because they are essentially
healing themselves by taking responsibility for not only love but for their
initial decision to separate from their authentic self ~ in order to survive,
stay in control and protect themselves from spiritual pain.

A spiritual relationship, as in that of soul mates, twin flames, and karmic

lovers, is two people on a common path to find and celebrate who they
really are ~ using the love that exists between them as the vehicle.
Such a relationship is not painless for it forces each partner to
eventually unconditionally love the other but in so doing ~ each partner
perfects themselves.
Part Three Summery

Very few people have the courage to embark on the journey of the heart
but those who do are blessed ~ for they will eventually conquer fear,
transcend time and space and become a fragment of life's heart in the
process.

One last Kabalistic Counsel on Soul Mates

It has been ordained by the highest authority that men and women be
attracted to one another. Unfortunately, most of us only recognize the lowest
level of sexual attraction, that which is biological. Here, in western society
there is something that has come to be known as "love at first sight." This
experience is almost entirely biological, with no spiritual element to it
whatsoever. Yet, it is this superficial level of love that most people are
looking for. This hope for magic is mostly a waste of time. However, this
does not mean that there does not exist that which today is referred to as
"soul mates."
It must be understood that what today is called a soul mate, i.e., one
special person for another special person, is not exactly what the
ancient texts speak about, even though it appears that way on the
surface. What is made clear in the Kabalistic works, Talmud and the
Torah is never deterministic. While relationships are planned to go
right, we sometimes steer things wrong, and this is usually through
sexual sin.

Although Heaven might have ordained for us the perfect match, it is

usually we that somehow botch things up through forbidden sexual
intercourse. Our future potential for finding the right mate is then best
summed up by the rest of what the Talmud in Sotah says, "Matches
are as difficult for G-d as was the parting of the Red Sea" (at the
Exodus). What this means is that once we mess things up (and I think
that most of us qualify for this category) finding the right mate
becomes an extraordinary hard job, with only Divine intervention
making it happen.

by Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok

In Conclusion
There is no doubt that the "compatible helper" [paraphrasing Gen. 2:18] that
G-d has intended for a man may assist him in his task. Yet, there is much
more to it than that. A single person is unable to complete the rectification
that he is to perform in this world. A soul's heavenly source has male and
female halves, which are incarnated into the world as a man and a woman.
The incarnation of the two does not necessarily occur simultaneously.
As a result, only when the man and woman are righteous do they attain the
privilege to meet and wed their real soul mate.

Consequently, each spouse may only reach spiritual fulfillment and

perfection by means of their union, when their lives are conducted
with purity.
