IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT SOMETHING THAT IS A VERY DARK PERFECTLY ROUND AND LOOKS LARGE, IT IS PROBABLY NOT A CELL!
7. Once you think you have located a cell, draw what you see. Remember your DRAWING tips! 8. Once you have nished drawing the cell at low power, switch to medium power and observe. ---Sketch the cell at low and high power. Label the nucleus, cytoplasm, and cell membrane. Draw your cells to scale.

The circle represents what you see through the eyepiece of the microscope. Using thin lines, divide the circle into four parts in order to organize the picture. Draw the outline of largest shape onto the paper, making it t within the correct part of the circle. Now move to the other shapes. Always work from the largest shapes down to the smallest shapes. Constantly check the slide to make sure that the shapes and scale are correct. Checking the microscope, slowly add more details to the insides of the shapes on your drawing. It is best to start with the simplest shape. As you nish these last steps of how to draw microscope slides, add any detail that you think is missing. Use pencil shadings, swirls, lines or whatever else will give your picture more accuracy.
