Welcome to the Seminar BioReMed 2011

Dear Colleagues, It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 1st International Seminar on Biomaterials & Regenerative Medicine BioReMed2011, on 29th September - 2nd October 2011 which will take place in Gura Humorului, Best Western Bucovina Hotel. Right in the heart of Bucovina, at crossroads, Best Western Bucovina is waiting for you - a place where tradition, customs and elegance are at home, a place where smiling faces and famous traditional cuisine will make you feel the magic. From this place you can see Obcinile leaning over horizons, you can hear songs like in ancient times, you can feel the smell of pine needles Located in Gura Humorului, close to monasteries Vorone and Humor, gently surrounded by Obcini, Best Western Bucovina is the gateway into the fantastic world of customs and traditions of the fairy tale land of Bucovina. The seminar will also host a Young Scientists Forum section and the 10th General Assembly of the Romanian Society for Biomaterials. The aim of this event is to bring together scientists from both basic and applied biomedical research with a special attention to regenerative medicine. Active participation from academy, industry and clinical centres with different specialities is encouraged. This conference will be devoted to the following subjects: Biomaterials and Biocompatibility Regenerative Medicine Clinical Applications of Biomaterials Computer Modelling Education in biomaterials and medical engineering

Young Scientist Forum

The YSF is an event, usually integrated in the conference that is aimed at discussing biomaterials education and training in Europe, emphasising the existing and emerging career, as well as research opportunities in the field. In these events discussion is fostered by creating an interactive environment amongst participants, thus promoting an enriching discussion on topics that concern everyone who graduated, or will do so, in Biomaterials. Preliminary program: - Lectures by high level experts and young scientists; - Round table: interactive public discussions between young scientist (previous selected) and some representative from education, research & industry field. - Plenary discussions (open to all participants).
