QUESTION : CHOOSE ONE OF THE NOVEL, THEN EXPLAIN WHY YOU DISLIKE THE ENDING OF THE STORY.
Based on novel The Prisoner of Zenda, I dislike the ending because it is very sad. Rudolf Rassendyll and Princess Flavia cannot be together even though they are deeply in love. Moreover Rudolf Rassendyll doesnt deserve a sad ending. He risked his life to save King Rudolf and his thrown. Apart from that, it is also a sad ending for Antoinette de Mauban. She was in love with Duke Michael wholeheartedly but Duke Michael did not love her and he was killed in the old castle. It is a sad ending for the two couples, Princess Flavia and Rudolf Rassendyll and Antoinette de Mauban and Duke Michael.

QUESTION : CHOOSE ON OF THE NOVEL ABOVE, THEN WRITE ABOUT AN INCIDENT THAT YOU THINK IS IMPORTANT.

Based on the novel, The Prisoner of Zenda, the incident that I think is important is during the coronation of King Rudolf V. This is because without coronstion, Rudolf Rassendyll would not have gone to Rurination and impersonates the King. Besides that, I also feel that this incident is important because Rudolf was able to save the King who was captured by Duke Michael, the Kings brother, who also wants to be King of Ruritania.

2010 PMR EXAMINATION

BASED ON THE NOVEL ABOVE, DESCRIBE A GOOD QUALITY THAT YOU ADMIRE IN A CHARACTER IN THE NOVEL.
In the novel Prisoner of Zenda, I learn that honour and and sacrifice are greater than romantic love for one person. Rassendyll loves the Princess Flavia, but he knows that she must marry the rightful King of Ruritania. Although it is difficult to him to do, he gives her up. He choose to do the the right thing. He knows it would be selfish for him torun off with Flavia, although she loves him, too. Rassendyll is also noble in his willingness to risk losing his life in order to save the king. This story inspires me to be noble and selfless. Like Rassendyll, I would like to be brave in the face of danger and bold in taking up any

challenge. I would like to put others before myself.

EXTRA QUESTION 1 : BASED ON NOVEL ABOVE, WRITE ABOUT LESSON LEARNT FROM THE ENDING OF THE STORY.
