To mark our first ever partnership with Han Chiang College and Han Chiang High School, a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was held before the Global Village carnival on 15th of July 2011 and the event took place in Han Chiang Colleges multi-purpose hall. Its all started in the early of this year when the members of AIESEC in Universiti Utara Malaysia approached the teachers of Han Chiang College and High School and presented to them the exchange projects that are running by AIESEC in Universiti Utara Malaysia. For everyones information, AIESEC in Universiti Utara Malaysia have been running two exchange projects in our campus which are the C.U.T.E. that is stand for Cultural Understanding Through Exchange and the RED Wave Initiative. Both of these projects are accepting interns from globally and the interns are here for developing the community around us as well as developing themselves. Based on the AIESEC has been established in our world ever since 1948 and AIESEC has been growing into one of the largest youths run organization in the world, these core benefits have received attention and interest from both Han Chiang College and High School. As from the exchange projects, staffs and students from both Han Chiang College and High School would receive benefits through their better understanding towards other country cultures such as the Global Village event.

Dutch Ambassadors Visit
Volume 3 | Issue 2
From 1st until 5th of August, we received two special guests from Netherlands, Eva Wubbe and Nicole Lodder. They were under the Dutch Ambassadors Programme organized by AIESEC in Netherlands. The Dutch Ambassadors Programme is a unique summer programme for first and second year Dutch university students. After an intense preparation period, 20 students will get the opportunity to go abroad for 6 to 8 weeks together with another Ambassador. The tickets will all be sponsored! While abroad, the Ambassadors will represent AIESEC the Netherlands. Throughout these five days, we had shared ours and theirs good case practices. We had received training in goal settings, importance of feedback, communication process, and face to face sales training. This training was very useful to us towards our coming Member Recruitment Drive which would be scheduled in September.
