Dear All ,

2011

It is hard to believe that we will be celebrating the 138th Innerwick Horticultural Societ y Annual Flower, Vegetable & Fruit Show on Saturda y , 6th August 2011 .

You ma y not be aware this is the oldest Show in th e county and is s till one of the mo s t popular . What make s it s o popular? Well , it 's largel y down to y ou and your participation and with this in mind we are ver y keen to encourage you to come and join in, not just as a visitor but also as a participant in one

of the many categories to be judged on the day .

'I don ' t gard e n ' I hear y ou cry. It i s still possible to pop those four rose heads you have been admiring into a glass. If that doesn't appeal, what about the home baking, some of the cla s ses even give y ou the recipe . With a v aried Craft Section, Knitting , Embroidery, Jam Making and Photography, there really is something for everyone. The Schools Section is always popular and the children love to put in an entr y, s o if you have y oung one s at home , gi v e th e m a chanc e to s ho w w hat the y can do .

This is the year to show your hidden tal e nts - just one item in one class will help boost the wonderful di s pla y w e s ucceed in exhibiting each y ear and who knows, y ou could be one of the luck y prize wi nner s.

A great variety of entertainment has been organi s ed from a pipe band to a

dog s ho w , a displa y of vintage motorbike s and a local Landro v er collection.

Pon y rid es, s ide s tall s and

great family day. Innerwick Welfare Association will also be organising an evening dance in the village hall .

children's entertainment . It all add s up to a

Go on s uppo r t Innerwick Flower Show ; it's y our Show after all.

Look for w ard to seeing y ou on 6th August,
