CIRCULAR N 042 -2010-BCRP

CONSIDERANDO QUE: La Ley General del Sistema Financiero y del Sistema de Seguros y Orgnica de la Superintendencia de Banca y Seguros, Ley N 26702, dispone que para los fines de la aplicacin de los lmites y dems disposiciones pertinentes de dicha ley, el Banco Central elabora una lista de los bancos del exterior de primera categora, con prescindencia de los criterios que aplique para la colocacin de las reservas que administra, a fin de lo cual toma como referencia las publicaciones internacionales especializadas sobre la materia. Los requisitos aprobados para la elaboracin de dicha lista comprende el tipo de banco: holdings bancarias, bancos comerciales, bancos de crdito de mediano y largo plazo, bancos de ahorro, bancos cooperativos, bancos de inversin, bancos inmobiliarios e hipotecarios, instituciones especializadas de crdito gubernamental, instituciones de crdito no bancario y entidades supranacionales; el capital mnimo: US$ 1 400 millones, no requerido para entidades supranacionales; el calificativo crediticio de corto plazo mnimo de por lo menos dos agencias calificadoras (F2 por Fitch, A-2 por S&P y P-2 por Moodys); y, el calificativo crediticio de largo plazo mnimo de por lo menos dos agencias calificadoras (A- por Fitch, A- por S&P y A3 por Moodys). Dentro del concepto de instituciones financieras de primera categora estn incluidas las matrices que se menciona en la presente norma, as como todas sus sucursales y subsidiarias que sean bancos en cuyo capital la matriz tenga participacin de al menos dos tercios. SE RESUELVE: Artculo 1.- Aprobar la lista de bancos de primera categora que se encuentra detallada en el portal web de este Banco Central: www.bcrp.gob.pe Artculo 2.- Derogar la Circular N 027-2009-BCRP
