PREFACE

Engineering students gain theoretical knowledge only through their books. Only theoretical knowledge is not sufficient for absolute mastery in any field. Theoretical knowledge given in our books is not so much use with knowing its performance implementation. It has been experienced that theoretical knowledge is volatile in nature however practical knowledge makes solid foundation our mind. To accomplish this aspect, the Rajasthan University has included performance training for the student of B.E. performance training is compulsory for every student of Engg. College. According to the syllabus each student required to under go a practical training of 45 days. This is my second training of 45 days. It is very difficult to know about this plant & write in ultimate words. But I am trying to write what I learnt in the plant in training period. This training is also deal with theoretical part & in this report all the data are collected from the plant.

I am grateful to my colleagues at the Kota Super Thermal Power Station. The name of persons all works done under the guidance of Mr. D.K. Bhardwaja (Executive Engineer) Mr. Sunil Madan (Junior Engineer) Mr. P.K Nigam (Assistant Engineer)

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Being a description of the nature around us, engineering is our best friend since the dawn of the industrialization. I have extensively used this aspect to introduce the thermal power plants. The topic then appears to be friendly and enjoyable. A Thermal power plant possesses a considerable fascination for most of the people. The training report prepared aims to put forward the basic system involved their objective and operating functions they perform. These systems are responsible for controlling and used in performing many tasks. I recognize that no single approach can satisfy all needs. I am greatly thankful to my Training Coordinator Mr. Sunil Madan who displayed a sharp eye for detailed and thorough understands of the overall philosophy of presenting the subject. In addition, he offered lucid and insightful critics of presentation pedagogy. I am also grateful to, who explained me, with such simplicity and effectiveness, the practical fields of other plant. I also acknowledge my deep gratitude to Mr.D.K.Bhardwaj who are only a few of many whose help and support I would like to acknowledge. Finally, I would like to acknowledge my thanks to Mr.A.K.Gupta who from behind the scenes supported and help me with an opportunity to go through this effort. I would like to express our deep gratitude & heartiest thanks to our H.O.D. Mr. Anoop Singh Poonia Sir who infused me with the spirit to work upon changeling field, which has its inception in such time when there is a need for new orientation.
