Project Description
HP is a major manufacturer of Computers and Printers. They have an online ordering system. This online
ordering system has been running on classic ASP but was being changed to .NET. HP has 2 types of ordering
systems. One is web based and the other is Windows Based which is the Call Center Tool. This is called the ICC
(Integrated Call Center). A base framework called ISCS (Integrated Simple Common Solution) was developed
using C# .NET which would be used by both web based and windows based applications. HP has divided its
market into regions. This base framework has to be consumed by the various regions to develop there regional
extensions of the web or windows application.

Travelanza.com is a travel portal which provides online reservation for flights, hotels and car rentals. The
travel portal can interact with different hotel management system and travel system to send reservation
and receive confirmation. The user can get instant confirmation on booking tickets through the portal.
The middle tire was done using visual basic 6.0.

Responsibilities:
• Involved in design and development public pages, secure pages, login restricted and shopping cart pages.
• Design user interface as well as navigation between pages using site diagram, passing parameters between
pages, develop ASP pages in VB script and define client-side validation using Java scripts.
• Solely responsible for implementation of MSMQ on both server side and client side which is used to
transfer reservation to different hotel system.
• Designed and developed an automatic web reservation download program, which was developed in
VB6.0 and SQL Server 7.0 which interact with Property Management System in the client side (Hotels).
This tool replaced MSMQ later.
• Responsible for design and development of COM components under MTS environment.
• Successfully developed and implemented a live customer support chat system. The chat system works as
“many to one” and “many to many” concept.

Project Description:
PMS is designed as a total software solution to Hotel and Resort Management helping both Front Office and Back
Office operations. The software adopts a modular approach to implement the problem solving process in a fast,
efficient and thorough manner. PMS caters to the changing trends and technology of the Hospitality industry by
virtue of its scaleable design. The software can virtually act as the host of many Industry-related products such as
Telephones, Touch Screen, Point-of-Sale terminals, etc. Programs are organized into well-defined modules. Each
module caters to the operational requirement of a specific department or type of work.

• Involved in design, development and implementation of Membership module (a part of property
management system)

Project Description

Geographical World Time and places of interest is a part of PMS (Property Management System). This system
deals with time and places of all countries in the world. It gives the user the necessary information like the
current time of a particular country and the details of the country. All these information are provided when a user
moves a mouse on any part of world map.

Responsibilities:
•As a project trainee, involved in design and development.
•Collected all countries detail information including the time zone GMT difference.
•Necessary screen were created to feed-in the collected information for each country.
•The world map was divided into different coordinates for each country. When the mouse is moved on a
particular coordinate, the respective country information will be displayed.
•The detail country information can be printed which was developed using excel objects in visual basic.
