Completed project on Automatic weather control of car air-conditioning system. In this project, according to the external and cabin temperature, the hot air from the heater and cold air from the Air Conditioner is mixed automatically and hence easy and efficient Air Conditioning is achieved. This mechanism involves the control of the duct mechanism present in the Air Conditioner setup by using a stepper motor.This system is designed and implemented using PIC microcontroller, an IC manufactured by Microchip Corporation. The main advantage of the project are compact design, economics and easy installation.

LINEAR PROGRAMMING PROBLEM- MAXIMIZATION AIM:


To maximize the profit of hockey sticks and chess boards and solve the linear programming. PROCEDURE: 1. Convert the given problem into appropriate model (max or min) along with the constraint equations. 2. Define the changing cells(x1, x2, x3, etc) and enter some values (other than zero) in these cells. 3. Calculate the total profit or cost; enter the profit figures in the appropriate cells and calculate the total profit by using the formula. This total profit figure is the target cell in excel solver. 4. Set up the resource usage/constraint in the subsequent rows and calculate the total in the corresponding column using the appropriate formula. Enter the constraint values by selecting the appropriate symbols for e.g.,>= or <= or =. 5. Set up the solver option from the tools menu after keeping the cursor in the target cell. The maximization or minimization radio button may also be selected as the case may be. 6. The changing cells are selected next. In the constraints table click on ADD and select the CELL REFERENCE and constraints with the appropriate sign. 7. Click on OPTIONS and put a tick mark in the ASSUME LINEAR MODEL & NON NEGATIVE boxes. 8. Click on SOLVE to get the solver results. Calculate the total profit or cost; enter the profit figures in the appropriate cells and calculate the total profit by using the formula. This total profit figure is the target cell in excel solver. 4. 5. Set up the resource usage/constraint in the subsequent rows and calculate the total in the corresponding column using the appropriate formula. Enter the constraint values by selecting the appropriate symbols for e.g.,>= or <= or =. 6. Set up the solver option from the tools menu after keeping the cursor in the target cell.
