INTRODUCTION

My project on Gymnasium Management System aims to provide computerization of the manual work which is going on in the Gymnasium and to reduce the complexity related to member admission, employee info etc. Today in this competitive business world production of wealth and satisfaction of consumer wants, are carried out mainly by industry. Economic activity of humanity consists of nothing else but immense cooperation of workers and producers to make or do thing better. That the customer wants. In any Gymnasium institute, we still find number of problems relating to billing of Service Card and Maintenance, Documentation, Maintaining the supplements, employee staff etc. so with the help of this software we are trying to solve maximum problems which are generally faced by any Gymnasium institute. In any Gymnasium institute almost every work is done manually which are complicated and time consuming. But with the help of modern technology like computer we can make this complicated work very simple and user friendly. It eliminates manual work to digitalized format and improves working standards. So our project attempts to solve all the problems relating to Gymnasium and their services to the customer at the higher Satisfactory Level. The owner has to keep in mind all the Member name, supplements in stock, Staff management Etc. which is not possible in manual working, so to overcome this limitation we have developed such a software which would cover all the necessary records required at the time of filling the Member Records, Employee Records, Supplements Records etc in order to help the owner to keep check the status of business. This software is not restricted for a particular organization, any organization which deals in trading or supplying goods can use this software in their organization. The software is developed in such a manner that it can easily adopted by any business organization. We develop this software by keeping in mind the features of tally program and hence this software can be used by any of the business organization for maintaining their day to day transactions without modifying the software source code. The program required details related to your organization and as per the details provided by the user it start working for your organization. It automatically

generates all the reports and documents in the name of your organization there is no need to change or modify in the software source code. We all try to make this software so user friendly that any person who is running his Gymnasium institute can use it, even if he is not computer expert.

OBJECTIVES
Traditionally, the working and calculation in GYMNASIUM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM was done manually which are more complicated, unreliable and time consuming. So it is necessary to replace this traditional manual work with a computerized system which is easy to manage, saves time and provides high accuracy & security. As GYMNASIUM MANAGEMENT is one of the emerging fields of Business World and its scope is also increasing day-by-day, so it gets more important to handle all the information efficiently, reliably and sophisticatedly which can be achieved through the medium of computer. Main objectives of Gymnasium Management System: To computerized manual work. To reduced duplication of data. To eliminate hurdles in keeping records. To reduce stationery work. To provide flexibility. To save time and physical efforts of the user. To reduce bulk of paper work. To provide security to confidential Databases.

System Analysis Study of Existing System

1. The work is done manually 2. The customer is large in number, it takes much time to perform and carry out various task manually. Also it is difficult to maintain to particulars and registers of each and every customer. 3. As the records are maintained manually, it becomes tedious and tiresome to maintain insurance particulars of goods along with claim considerations. 4. Difficulty in updating various records and reports 5. Accuracy cannot be maintain which results in vagueness and imprecision

Problem Definition
Many business organizations have huge number of transactions in their day to day routine and it is a very tedious task for the owner to handle this transactions efficiently. Take a example any tourist spot, it is not always possible to keep in mind the all tourist spot and its information , and hence to overcome come this drawback we provide such a facility in our software which provides information related to spot with respect to their state.

Solutions Requirements
Yes, with the help of this software we can automate the working of business organization which can handle n-numbers of transactions efficiently, which provides time to time information to the user as and when required in a prescribed manner. For a Gymnasium Institute maintaining the Members, Employees, medical supplement etc is very important so with the help of this software we can automate all the necessary transactions incurred in any Gymnasium Institute.

Flaws/Problems in present system

1. In manual system it becomes difficult to maintain details of each and every customer if they are large in number. So an appropriate software is needed for this purpose. 2. In Manual system once the report is generated it is very difficult task to update it. 3. In manual system again it is difficult to maintain member details and documentation part regarding transactions carried out by the Gymnasium Institute.

Need for the new system

The work being done manual leads to inaccuracy, it is important to choose a system that is more accurate & precise in its results. Working manually it consumes more time & the results may not be reliable. Hence a system is needed to supersede the above points. Moreover a new computerized system also provides the following advantages: 1. Increase in pace of work as transactions can be carried out with high speed. 2. It saves time & energy. 3. Computerization also leads to standardization & consistency. 4. Reliable & accurate. 5. Easy retrieval of information with just a few clicks. 6. Reduction in paper work. 7. Quick access. 8. To forecast the future market conditions.

Preliminary analysis
The project on Gymnasium Management system is multidisciplinary modularly studied and evaluation for structured, interactive software for preliminary design, analysis and evaluation for a broad range of supply management system. This report analyzes the information contained in Gymnasium Management System. The main aim of my project is to focus on moving obstacles in Gymnasium Management System so as to facilitate the free moment of and also provides total satisfaction of customers. Modules being integrated in Gymnasium Management System are Member details, Employee details, Receipt details etc. to provide the necessary high degree of flexibility, each module can be applied individually. The data management and the interaction between individual modules are controlled by an access data base system.

Feasibility study
Feasibility Study is the determination of whether or not a project is worth doing. In other words, Feasibility is the analysis of risk, costs and benefits relating to economics, technology and organizational use. The problem to be automated is analysed in sufficient detail to ensure that all aspects of Feasibility are evaluated. This type of study determines if a project can and should be taken. Once it has been determined that a project is feasible, the analyst can go ahead and prepare the project specification which finalizes project requirements. The contents and recommendations of such a study will be used as sound bases for deciding whether to proceed since the Feasibility study may lead to the commitment of large resources, it becomes necessary that it should be conducted competently and that no fundamental errors of judgments are made.

Feasibility is evaluated from developers and customers point of view. In the conduct of the feasibility study, the analyst will usually consider distinct but interrelated type of Feasibility. They are: * Technical Feasibility * Operational Feasibility * Economical Feasibility Technical Feasibility: Technical Feasibility centers around the existing computer system i.e. availability of required Hardware, Software and Operating System. This projects one of the Languages is HTML which can be easily copied and run on any system with the required configuration. Operational Feasibility: The proposed system/Software is user friendly in nature. This system will be helpful for the user to perform all necessary operations efficiently and effectively. The graphic user interface is self explanatory as a result there is no need of providing any kind of training to the user about the software, provided the user is a Computer Literate. Demonstration of the system/Software once to the user will definitely meet the user operate the software efficiently Economical Feasibility: The cost of installing the project is not high. Once installed, the project gives long term benefit. Cost of the Hardware and the Software that is required to build a system is very much within the reach of the institution. So, it is possible to go ahead with the proposed system from economic point of view.

VALIDATIONS AND SECURITY MEASURES

The validations are an all important part of the project that we have designed for the user. These validations are as follows: Our first validation consist of the company related info, if the company information is already present in the database then the login form is loaded else the company information form has to loaded first to accept all the information related to its organization by the user . User name and password needs to be entered correctly otherwise the user will not be allowed to login. The field such as Customer ID, Supplier ID, Bill Number etc which is very important is not to be left blank.

FUTURE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

18

Implementation of the present application in any other organization can be made to use as for payroll system, employee details can also be managed. The present software can also be made to use as Multi-user Software & can result in more user-friendly. This Project is developed in such a way that future modifications can also be done as per the requirements of the user.

SUGGESTIONS
Future Modifications: In future modification is also possible because the system is flexible in nature Proposed System: The proposed system is design in such a manner that it will handle the working of business related transaction for example maintenance of customers details, booking details, retail store, employee management etc. Non Proposed System: The proposed system is not able to handle all the transaction related to business eg: cash in, cash out transaction etc it is only designed to automat the working of essential task of business.

CONCLUSION

19

To conclude we have gone through various phases of software development life cycle starting from the problem definition whereas such working used to be done manually but after problem analyses we have implemented an system(software) i.e GYMNASIUM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM which will help to maintain records of various transactions being carried out by the firm, thus providing total customer satisfaction. Developing such a system includes database preparation, form designing, coding, database collection & data transfer. GYMNASIUM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM facilitates easy retrieval & storage of data in the database. It is user friendly & can be used as a working software in various firms.
