736T Alarm System Installation Guide

Immobilizer (starter kill) wiring, consists of 2 heavy gauge Black wires which come from the control module (identified by blue tape). 2. Dual stage shock port. 3. LED port. TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING The alarm system is supplied with 2 Code Hopping transmitters. The system has the ability to recognize up to 4 transmitters at the same time. New or replacement transmitters can be taught to the system using the following procedure: 1. Turn the ignition ON and OFF twice and then turn the ignition back ON within a 7-second period. 2. The LED will flash quickly for 3-seconds. 3. After the 3-second flashing, there is a 1 second break and then the LED flashes at a 1-second rate. 4. Count the flashes and turn the ignition OFF after the number of flashes equal to the PIN code. 5. Turn the ignition back ON and press the button on a new transmitter to teach it to the system. 6. Turn the ignition OFF. Leave the ignition OFF for 10-seconds to exit the learn routine.

DELETE TRANSMITTER To delete lost or stolen transmitters from the system: 1. Enter the feature selection (see above). 2. 3. Select feature #14 and press both and buttons on the transmitter. All transmitters except the transmitter used during the transmitter learn routine will be deleted from the system.

See table below for control summary. PIN CODE The PIN code is a single digit number that can be changed by using feature #13. The procedure to enter a PIN code is as follows: 1. Enter feature programming as described earlier. 2. Select feature #13. 3. Use transmitter buttons and to set the new PIN code. Button will increase the PIN code by one and button will decrease the setting by one. The setting will be confirmed after each button press by the number of chrips from the siren. 4. Whe the new PIN code has been set, press both buttons and simultaneously. TROUBLESHOOTING Starter kill does not work Is the correct starter wire being interrupted? If the car starts when the starter kill relay is completely disconnected, the wrong starter wire has been cut. Status LED does not work Is it plugged in? Door locks do not work properly Check door lock wiring and connections.

FEATURE PROGRAMMING Feature programming is independent of transmitter programming, but to access the feature repeat steps 1 through 6 of the Transmitter Programming. 1. Turn the ignition back ON and press the button again to go to feature 1. 2. Use buttons to move up in the feature selection and use to move down in the feature selection. The siren will chirp the
