Elsafes industry leading multi-level password control

Unlike other manufacturers whose safes can be opened using a single worldwide factory-set master code, all S-Series models are protected by a 1 2 3 4 unique multi-level password control system. This powerful security feature allows every hotel to set their own unique override code in order to open safes in case of an emergency. The various levels of passwords provide a securely structured hierarchy in order to control all openings and re-setting of system parameters.

Elsafe SafeLink reinforces your security management

Every S-series installation includes a SafeLink kit, complete with an infra-red connected printer, full operating instruction and security logbook. The SafeLink unit allows your staff to print an instant audit trail, open safes which are accidentally left locked, change configurations and perform other security management tasks. Simply connect the SafeLink into a slot hidden behind the safes handle, key your hotels own high security password into the SafeLink, and use its touch screen to guide you through the various procedures.

Print a detailed audit trail that can be used as legal evidence

This report includes all failed entries as well as successful openings and closings. All hotel staff are clearly identified by name: 1 Hotel name, room number, staff ID, time and date of printout 2 Time and date stamped details for the last 100 safe activities and 1,000 SafeLink activities 3 Many other details such as incorrect user codes, safe type and serial number 4 Theres even a section for the signatures of the hotel representative and guest approving the audit trail procedure

Intelligent locking software

Elsafes S-series doors are spring loaded. If the locking bolt is not properly engaged, the LED displays an error message and the door automatically opens.

Unlike many other systems on the market, all vital security and audit

trail information is retained in flash-RAM memory. Your data is retained forever and theres no security risk when changing batteries.

Guest-chosen four or six-digit numeric code

With Elsafe, guests choose their own personal fourdigit (or optional six-digit) code to lock the safe. This feature not only gives the guest increased peace of mind, it also reduces the hotels liability. Guests simply enter the code of their choice into the safes keypad, shut the door, press the close button, and the safe is securely locked. To open the safe, the guests just re-enters the same code, and the safe door automatically opens.

Windows PocketPC-based security management

Using industry-standard Windows PocketPC-based software makes security management a breeze. All commands and options are simple to select using user-friendly intuitive buttons on the hand-held units touch-screen.

A choice of power supply

The S-series can be delivered with mains power supply or battery operated.

Reassuring LED display

The S-series has an LED display that re-confirms the code that the guest has just entered. Since the LED only displays four (optional six) digits, this intuitively tells the guest exactly how many digits are required to lock the safe. If there are more than 5 unsuccessful attempts to unlock the safe, it automatically goes into a 30-minute countdown mode, which prevents random attempts to guess commonly used codes.
