Cable Channel Snap-in-System HSI 90

Easy handling at construction site, quick assembly, and 100% sealing perfection make Snap-in System HSI 90 the most economical cable leadthrough.
The convenient plugin system can be individually adapted to the wall thickness.

The new cable channel snap-in system HSI 90 consists of a single- or double-packing, as desired, that can be adapted to the existing wall thick- ness individually by a convenient plug-in system. An integrated tapered seal warrants the riquired tightness of up to 2bar. The system cover is equipped with an easy-fit snap-joint that closes with an audible clack. The ready-to-install tensioning nut is tightened by hand and compresses a rubber sealingring. Subsequently, the leadthrough cables can be sealed off using a hot or cold shrinking method. The system covers are supplied complete with the ready-to-install tensioning nut. A variety of diameters and numbers of connection pieces are available. The new snap-in system HSI 90 is also very well suited for combined use with the leadthrough systems KES 90.

The bayonet joint latches into the snapin packing with an audible clack. Heavy-duty bayonet joint made of highgrade plastic material. The tensioning nut compresses the rubber sealing ring, creating a reliable seal. The tapered seal allows for individual adjustments.

Encasement in concrete
The snap-in packing HSI 90 is inserted as delivered (length= wall thickness) at the desired position and encased flush into the formwork. It is fastened by nails at the nail holes provided in the frame. In order to prevent the formation of voids, make sure the concrete completely embeds the snap-in packing HSI 90 when compacting the concrete. When the snap-in single packing is used, the direction of installation has to be agreed with the orderer prior to work beginning. Notice: Be aware that sealing always has to take place at building exterior, if our system covers are used for variable sealing (hot or cold shrinking method).

ID = 84 mm Wall thickness 50 mm min. for one-sided connection of system covers, supplied in correspondence to wall thickness, inserted and concrete encased flush into formwork. Because the packing is provided with sealing covers and protective films by the supplier, the interiors remain clean during concrete work. The frame attached to the packing allows creating packages by the aid of tongue and groove guides. The sealing cover supplied provides gas- and water-tightness on the connection side of one bar at least. The centre distance is 135 mm. Order no. Snap-in slanted packing HSI 90 45 inclination supplied matching wall thickness and fastened by nails (equipped with nail holes) flush to formwork. This package allows the reliable leadthrough of all cables arriving at an angle (from any direction). Min. wall thickness is 175 mm.
