The core product (developed by ELS founder Detlef Meyer) is the T5-system adapter, which was awarded the Environmental and Climate Protection Award of Bielefeld in 2009. The T5-system adapter allows easy conversion of the old, energy-guzzling T12 and T8 fluorescent lamps with conventionale or low-lost-ballast to the T5-technologiy. Due to the design-related advantages of lightweight, selfextinguishing plastic from its existing adapter with German-built full-fledged electronic ballast, DiaLUX predictable high performance reflector and Europes most strict certification, we take a top position in the market. Not to mention the high satisfaction of our customers - due to the extremely low failure rate - shows our commitment to the technology and quality leadership.

Our research and development department is constantly working on improvements, new products and variants. So other than, the conversion from T8 electronic ballast operated lighting solutions for damp-proof lamps, we also offer you lamps for cold environments and with protection against vandalism. For high mounting heights, we offer indoor area lights on the basis of T5- and also of LED technology.
