Pray that the Lord would heal Jim Baker of all his cancer and other illnesses, and restore the strength of his youth. Please pray that our churchs neighbours would be favourable to having the proposed Child Care operating in our facility Pray for the Catalyst ministry to university students in Paris. Tim and Rachel Meier are asking the Lord for another location where this group can meet. They have outgrown their facilities and need a strategic place that is accessible to students and will encourage the growth of this ministry. Pray for a team from Tokyo Alliance churches that will minister with Harry and Jane Landaw to those in the area where the tsunami destroyed homes and churches in northern Japan. Pray for hearts to be prepared to receive the love of Jesus. Are you new to this facility? We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that:

Guess Who...
A Choir at WHAC?
The only thing more moving than listening to a powerful choir sing, is being part of that choir! Big or small, wed like to start an all-ages choir at WHAC in preparation for the Christmas season; if this is of interest to you, please drop a Communication Card in the offering today with your name and the word Choir in the space provided.
Last Sunday at our Thanksgiving dinner, a number of interesting facts came up about a number of people in our church family. Here are some that you heard, and one that you didnt
I went on board a United States nuclear submarine Ive worked for 37 years and have never used an ATM machine, and dont know how to use one still! I won a radio station competition which involved a live impersonation of the spice girls (Clue: I was Sporty Spice)
Go and Be...
On September 16-18, the Living Room youth movement is going large with a weekend retreat to Camp Adair. Registrations are still being accepted, but please contact Amber Hart at 021 119 1859 to register your interest.
WHAC AGM
If you understand that acronym, you should probably go to it, but even if you dont, the churchs Annual General Meeting is an important part of our annual calendar, and everybody is encouraged to attend. Matters to be discussed include a proposed new By-Law, this years budget, and the strategy for growth at WHAC. It really is important for all to come for our 7:00 start in the church.
Prayer at WHAC
Prayer Night: Join us in the church September 8th and 22nd.
A financial Update
The numbers are in, and it is wonderful to report that despite having started the year with a $7,000 deficit budget, we ended the year with close to a $12,000 surplus! Wow! Praise the Lord and good for you! As you know, we dont give to a budget, or even to the church, we give to God as an expression of love and worship, and with a 41% increase over our previous financial year, I truly trust that the Lord has been honoured in that!
McKeans: Please see Tom for details Mordaunts: Meets Sept 1st & Sept 15th. Thomas: Meets Sept 1st & Sept 15th.
