No prostituion and sexual exploitation The point of the project:

Prostitution represents one of the most frequent problems in the society in all times. As term, we can define as: Criminal fact where a woman commits sexual acts with different strangers for procuring money to survive.1 We can also can be define as a womans profession who engage somebody in sexual relations for money or for other material privileges; condition where people in the society have labile sexual relations, changing their partners.2 The victims of prostitution are especial women, in limited percentage men, and in the most severe case, children. We also can talk about agreed prostitution and forced prostitution. In our days prostitution represents a very severe problem, as much as they are talking to legalize it.

Our project has the next points:

The prostitute women who have choose to prostitute The prostitute men

The prostitute women who are impounded

The sexual abused children, or the children used to prostitute for money or other benefits

In other words the point of this project is the involved persons in sexual acts with or without their acceptance, wining some small or big profits from the clients. Justifying the intervention need: We need to study serious the prostitution problem because of its effects over the society and over the persons who are exploited through it. Here are some effects:

The prostitute is dehumanizing because it serves as an object in sexual satisfaction. The people who do these services are often exposed of violence and their physical integrity is broken.

The person who practice prostitution is often exposed at sexual abuses, rapes and brutality.

The impact of sexual abuse over the children shows that the victims of sexual and brutality are losing the physical and psychological sense. The young minor prostitute are suffering humility and degradation in the hands of their primps and of the clients. They are liable in contacting diseases through sexual contact and they also can get an unwanted pregnancy. -

Prostitution encourages homosexuality, which is an offence for a normal society and family. The individual value is broken by using simple persons like some simple objects for sexual and material satisfaction.3

Activities:
It is very hard to on the territory of whole country to prevent and stop prostitution, especially because there are pressures to legalize it. Its hard to fight against sexual exploitation and in the same time to accept it as a legal fact. Thats why I think we should act sequential. In a study made in a European country between 2003 2006 we see: 21 % are men prostitute and 79 % are prostitute women The average age of women victims is 20 years old, and for men is 25 years old In 38 % of the cases there was a conjunction between victim and trafficker (friend or relative)

17 % of the victims in the recruitment moment havent finish a school, 78% of victims have finish just primary school, 5% had incomplete higher education

64 % of victims came from villages and 36% from towns and cities.

The stages of acting should be divided in steps as it comes:

Investigate and identify at the country and local lever the brothels and the sexual abuses victims or the persons whom are suspected in human trafficking. This step needs a very good collaboration with the authorities.

The induction of a no prostitution campaign in the population, and informing population through advertisements, leaflets, meetings in public places, with prostitution subject where to talk about prostitution and its risks, its disadvantages, and about the effect over victims and practices. In other words raising awareness.

Setting up free service centers for prostitution victims, to advice and rehabilitate them, who can help reintegrate this victims in the society, and to grow self esteem, physiological and social advice, helping to find them new places for work, and studying other problems from case to case.

Organizing no prostitution campaigns in high schools and universities to can prevent prostitution and sexual abuse

Active implication of population in no prostitution campaigns through mass media and nondiscriminatory contest well organized through TV Shows with open participation of viewers, through papers and other possible ways.

Fundraising for this project through different ways: organizing a banquet with important persons, donations, volunteers

Resources:
It is hard to find resources especially for this social problem. Weve already discussed this issue in the last rows, and it could be a good idea to make a clear plan with all the resources we have or we can have. We can use mass-media as a resource, or the presentation of real cases (confidential) of prostitution and its effect; we can also have the support of authorities, the church and other social institutions.

Church role:
It is hard to proclaim the truth of the Bible in a diverse society where the sense of absolute truth doesnt exist. But the role of the church is to proclaim with love and courage the Bibles advices and words concerning sexual relationships. We all know that the Bible contest any other sexual act out of marriage. This can have an impact

in prostitutes lives and can change their attitude. Church and Bible can be always used like a resource.

Expected effects:
Preventing and combating prostitution and sexual abuses represents a hard work for society, authorities, church and individual. About the expected effects, for positive ones we can expect: decrease in acts of prostitution, fewer women and sexually abused or sexually exploited children, a more moral and more secure society, labor market employment of women in various skills. The negative effects will not delay to appear, and among these may be called: threats from the pimps to the authorities, risk of being involved in catching the parties involved in prostitution or sexual exploitation, abuses against those included in combating prostitution and even risk losing the lives of those involved. The underworld is a dangerous world, ready to do anything to escape punishment and gain their authority not affected. That's why sometimes we meet multiple risks.

Conclusion:
Prostitution and sexual exploitation is a serious deviation from social norms desired. Legalizing prostitution does not solve her problem, but leads to shelter under the shadow of the law of crimes committed by pimps and a numbness of the society and the authorities. I think that the legalization and acceptance of prostitution will only worsen this social problem if we leave the premise that if we cannot escape from a social disease, it is better to accept and to take good. Prostitution of any work will never be normal, as is trying to prove some organizations and some states, but rather it proves the moral shortcomings of society in which we live.
