Centre for Rural Technology, Nepal needs to recruit the following positions to implement the Improved Water Mill Program and Biomass Energy Support Program supported by Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) / Energy Sector Assistance Program (ESAP) with an aim to promote improved water mills in potential hill districts of Nepal and to disseminate the improved biomass stoves for the benefit of local community. Program Officer (Improved Water Mill Program): Station- Kathmandu based requiring frequent field visits to other districts too. Minimum Qualification Required: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical). Preference will be given to those with Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) and or having at least three years of experiences on Renewable / Alternative Energy Technology projects with a strong capacity to develop and manage the field oriented program/projects. Biomass Energy Engineer (Biomass Energy Support Program): Station- Kathmandu based requiring frequent field visits to other districts too. Minimum Qualification Required: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial). Preference will be given to those with Master's Degree in Engineering and or having at least three years of experiences in Renewable / Alternative Energy Technology projects with a strong capacity to develop and manage the field oriented program/projects. Field Technicians: Station- Remote districts Outside Kathmandu Minimum Qualification Required: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering
Preference will be given to those who have field experiences with PICO HYDRO technology and social mobilization aspects.

Position: Technical Expert Station- Kathmandu based requiring frequent field visits to other districts too. Minimum Qualification Required: MBA with Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical). Preference will be given to those having at least two years of experiences on Renewable / Alternative Energy Technology projects with a strong capacity to develop and manage the field oriented program/projects.
