PEP 2nd Cycle: Student Empowerment Module Only for B.Tech, MCA & M.Sc (CSE) Lovely Professional University is gearing up for an exciting placement season. As per industry notification, this time the hiring season is advanced by two months and is expected to commence by the very end of September. To grab the golden opportunity and secure a job in the first wave of recruiters, you have to put lot of effort to refine your skills. In the last module you have received extensive training on Soft Skills, Aptitude, Analytical Skills and Reasoning which is best as per industry standard. Now to help you consolidate your aptitude, reasoning and analytical skills, DSCS is launching an Student Empowerment Module in association with a third party vendor. The rationale for such initiative is to prepare the students for the aptitude tests, that recruiters conduct at the start of any drive to filter the good candidates. In the past years DSCS has observed that due to lack of practice and exposure of the standard questions of the tests, students fair poorly and limit their scope in securing a dream job. The testing module will comprise of various tests, practice as well as assessment. The module will start with a Placement Pre-Assessment Test (PPAT) which will mirror your strengths and weaknesses.
Placement PreAssessment Test (PPAT) Sectional Practice Papers (VA-RC/DI-LR/QA/TECH) Practice Tests Mock Test (MT) I & II Evaluative Tests
IMPLICATIONS
This testing module is the Second Cycle of the PEP and is compulsory. All these are compulsory to all students of B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (CSE) who have registered for placements. Students are expected to take the tests constructively with vigor to attempt all the questions within the stipulated time frame. The score of the tests will be closely monitored. Scores of the tests will be sent to you and your Parents through letter/mail/SMS at regular intervals (twice in a month). Failing to attempt the tests for any reasons will deregister you from any kind of placement assistance offered by LPU and your 2000/- rupees will be forfeited. Parents of those students having either very low scores or not regularly attempting tests will be informed telephonically and in extreme circumstances might be called to the campus to give a written application stating the withdrawal of his/her ward from any kind of placement activities.
