Children Scripture Ephesians : 6 : 1 3 Gods Commandment and Promise to children.

. 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 Honor your father and motherwhich is the first commandment with a promise 3 So that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. Because we have been living with our parents for years, children tend to take advantage of their parents and begin to listen to other peoples opinion and think that they are better educated than their parents, that they begin to rebel against their parents. Becareful there is no scripture in the bibble that says children should listen to parents with conditions. (particular reference to their behaviors or status in education or in society of their parents). The lord clearly speaks that children should listen and obey their parents, no matter what harsh actions and words they dish out . This brings out the need for children to have virtues such endurance ,patients, humility and best of all , is to have a teachable spirit , to be able to obey their parents. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Proverbs 3:7 Becareful of the evil of education, physical look and strength. Learning of the worldly things such as education and thinking that you are physically strong enough , influences children to change their way of thinking about their responsibility of a child. Too much of the above mentioned factors , can see the lord , removing or brushing away from children the word of the lord and the peace of the lord . Signs and evidence of this in children is that they will begin to do things they think is right to them, what their heart desires. Children remember that when you know that what you are doing is wrong but you continue doing it, be sure to know that this are signs of actions that the lord is slowly leaving you and your spirit to dwell in sinful things. You will see yourself not been able to fully see the potentials in you. You will begin to make others happy but bring shame to you're parents and family. Make the decision and ask the lord to assist you in leaving that sinful doing. We are only humans and we are children. Asking the lord for his assistance because you are unable to leave that sinful action you are dwelling in or because your desire is too strong for you to be able deal with, is the best action. Remember if you are able to conquer this desires and be able to obey your parents, there is one big promise awaiting you. Its gods promise that you will live longer on this earth, you will prosper at work, you will find a good partner in life as you may wish to, you will realize that your life will have effect on your friends and family, you will be respected and your parents will be speak highly of you. Who doesn't want this promise? Proverbs: 2 . Speaks about the Moral Benefits of Listening to your parents ( Your god on this earth). 1 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding 3 indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8 for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. 9 Then you will understand what is right and just and fairevery good path. 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. 11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. 12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, 13 who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, 14 who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, 15 whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways. 16 Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words, 17 who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. 18 Surely her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead. 19 None who go to her return or attain the paths of life.

20 Thus you will walk in the ways of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. 21 For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; 22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it. Explanation: If you don't obey the lords word, which is your parents teachings and consultations , (irrespective of the conditions in which it is dished out to you), the lord will leave you. Hebrew: 12 : 5,6,7,8 talks about how God Disciplines His Children Parable of how Parents should discipline their children to show their love. 5 And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, My son, do not make light of the Lords discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, 6 because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son. 7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? 8 If you are not disciplined everyone undergoes disciplinethen you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Don't take the word of the lord lightly. When you corrected by your parents, when somebody identifies are wrong that you are doing, remember that these are words of people who care about you, words of those who knows what is up ahead of you , words that will remove the blindness in you, words that will enlighten your path. If children don't wish to accept these, then note that these are signs of you rebelliousness against the lord , which is a sin and god promises children destruction in their lives in the future. Remember if no one corrects you ( which usually comes in the form of parents talking, growling, shouting etc at you), its the biggest sign that those around you , DO NOT LOVE , & CARE about you. To not be corrected by someone is like a lost child ( luveniyali ). Titus 2 : 1 says that we preach only the Gospel of the lord 1 You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. Explanation: The best doctrine to teach your children is from the bibble. Always refer your children to the bibble. Teach them the ways of the lord. Teach them by practicing it ourselves. Share with your child , how to keep the cleanliness of the lord and vice versa, what he can do not to sin and vice versa. ( Reminder to parents to watch how they act and watch what they say these are what children follow ) John 5 : 19 Parents be good examples to your children 19 Jesus gave them this answer: Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. Explanation: Children follow what they parents do. Action speaks louder than words. Parents becareful about the things you do and say.

Ephesians : 4 :14 Parable of a person with a lot of different teachings in his life 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Explanation: Teach your child ONLY the doctrine of the bibble and not doctrine of human. Children become unstable when there is a lot of teaching. If its not in the bibble , do not teach your children about it. Isaiah: 5 : 11 Things not to teach children. 11 Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine. Explanation: Do not teach your children , sinful things such , alcohol drinking . However teach them to look after their body and their spirit. Alcohol and Yaqona will make them not think properly and make them disillusion and prevent them from making sound judgment.
