What is TAP?
The Tap parameter found in delay effects is the timing at which the delay sound is taken out of the delay loop. To illustrate this function, the delay shown below is using a delay time setting of 360msec. However, with the Tap parameter set to 60, the rst delay sound will be heard at 216msec. This happens for the rst delay sound only. If the Feedback (FB.) level is increased, all subsequent delay sounds will be heard at 360msec. intervals.
