INTRODUCTION
1-1 . General
For information pertaining to nomenclature, abbreviations, publications improvements, and other general
information, refer to TM 9-1425-381-10. For a listing
of forms, records, and reports pertaining to materiel
covered in this manual, and instructions for their use,
refer to TM 38-750.
1-2. Purpose
This manual is for the use of the HLT, VLT, and OST
operators during tactical operation of the PERSHING la
Field Artillery Missile System. It may be used in conj unction with TM 9-1425-381-10, which contains procedures in abbreviated tabular form.
1-3. Scope
The procedures in this manual are primarily for operation under usual conditions. For operation under
extreme environmental conditions, refer to TM
9-1425-381-10. TM 9-1425-381-10-2 through TM
9-1425-381-10-7 and TM 9-1425-381-10-9 contain
procedures to be performed by other personnel.
