EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Telemoney has been patronized by Filipino remitters in Malaysia since 1997.

Door to door remittance service has been the preferred service of every sender as it is convenient to the beneficiary. As of to date, Telemoney performance is not encouraging and it is at downwards trend. This is really due to stiff competition in the market and various marketing promotions offered by the service providers. Aggressive marketing promotions need to be implemented in order to expand market share. Currently, Telemoney captures only 2.8% market share. The total number of legal Filipino workers in peninsular Malaysia is 22, 080.
