What is BrakeCheck? The BrakeCheck is a new generation brake tester. It is the most advanced portable and user friendly electronic instrument available on the market designed specically for accurate and simple determination of the braking efciency of a moving vehicle. Why would you use BrakeCheck? Many accidents happen due to defective brakes, often as a result of poor vehicle maintenance. Having and using the BrakeCheck can identify deteriorating brakes before an accident occurs and helps to ensure better vehicle maintenance. Does BrakeCheck comply with necessary regulations? The BrakeCheck complies with most Government brake performance standards, testing station standards and State trafc authorities. Test Results The results can be viewed on the unit, printed directly to a serial printer by cable or infra-red, or downloaded to a PC le. The last test results are stored until another test is conducted. How is the BrakeCheck triggered? The BrakeCheck is triggered as soon as the vehicle decelerates. No additional sensors are required.
