its a great place to east with its ne fancy dining. it has a handy gift shop with art work from local artists...

It shows a lot of contemporary art with its permanent collection.

And has 12 featured art exhibits every year there are always new exhibitions with visiting international artists.

The kemper aims to promote art appreciation with a modern, contemporary aproach. the kemper aims to stimulate dialogue, to foster understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary art, and to present signicant works of art as educational resources. But, with everything that the kemper is, what more could they be?

There are always your typical museum goers who dont need a lot of persuading to go and appreciate art.

I like art... in general...

There are people who are semi-interested and are always open to passively look through the gallery.

We were just passing by...

And there may be the casual visitors who are just curious...

other notable museums of contemporary art have similar missions are the Art institute of Chicago

and the contemporary Milwaukee Art Museum.

These organisations all have a great deal in common, and generally have similar approaches for maintaining

Its safe to say, the Kemper is already a wonderfully successful Organisation in many ways.

from a design stand point, there seems to be a lot of missed opportunity. For example, their current design system is not terribly cohesive.

its logo which is of course an important aspect of the companies visual identity does not seem to do justice for an organisation that is so versatile, energetic, and full of national and international diversity. The Kemper should be proud of, and promote the fact that they offer such a versatile, aesthetic, contemporary, visually and mindfully engaging and informative experience.

These are various brochures, sign up forms, and a map that are currently produced by the Kemper. I think its safe to say that current design system is lacking in visual and conceptual cohesion...

With all that the kemper museum of contemporary art has to offer, I think it should consider creating a design system that does matches the versatility, energy, and diversity of the organisation.
