Dear Friends, On behalf of the City of Pickering and its Members of Council, I am pleased to offer my warmest greetings to the organizers, participants and guests of Pickering Museum Villages new musical extravaganza and piano competition, Ragdolls and Ragtime. Not only will Ragdolls and Ragtime be a fun, engaging and visceral program of music, film and dance, it will also serve to promote two very important mandates - the arts and heritage. By supporting significant initiatives such as this, we are helping to strengthen the cultural foundation of our community. I congratulate the dedicated staff and volunteers of Pickering Museum Village for the exciting and innovative work they are doing. They are truly exceptional ambassadors and it is through their outstanding efforts that Pickering remains one of the very best places to call home.
