Welcome to the Ateneo Student Exchange Council! We are witnessing one of the greatest years of ASEC with 495 members - a record number in the organizations history. We have started the year with various innovations: a new logo and a new project - Indonesia-Philippines Youth Cultural Exchange Program. For the first time, we have implemented the fleet system and the newsletter, to interact, communicate and serve you better. I am very excited to present to you the first issue of The Ambassador, the monthly newsletter of ASEC. This issue will further elaborate about the organization and its plans for this school year and likewise, introduce the executive board and officers who will serve the organization. All the best, Hanyeo Yoo

This was the very first time ASEC hosted delegates from Indonesia for a one week exchange program in the country. Included in the program was a local tour to Intramuros, classes in Filipino language, music and dance, and a culminating ceremony that showcased both Indonesian and Filipino culture, among others. 10 lucky ASEC delegates were handpicked to accompany the Indonesian delegates for the duration of their stay.
