A teacher can be your friend

Sure, its good to get along with your teacher because it makes your time in the classroom more pleasant.

What Does Getting Along Mean?

Getting along means you and your teacher have a way of communicating that works for both of you and you both are getting what you need from the relationship. From your teachers perspective, he or she wants to make sure you are paying attention, being respectful and polite, and trying your best to learn. From your perspective, you want a teacher who is respectful to you, answers your questions, and tries to help you learn.

But really, theres one superimportant reason why you should get along with your teacher. Kids who get along with their teachers not only learn more, but theyre more comfortable asking questions and getting extra help. This makes it easier to understand new material and do your best on tests. When you have this kind of relationship with a teacher, he or she can be someone to turn to with problems, such as problems with learning or school issues, such as bullying. As a kid in elementary or middle school, youre at a wonderful stage in your life. Youre like a sponge, able to soak up lots of new and exciting information. On top of that, youre able to think about all this information in new ways. Your teacher knows that, and in most cases, is thrilled to be the person whos giving you all that material and helping you put it together. Remember, teachers are people, too, and they feel great if youre open to what theyre teaching you. Thats why they wanted to be teachers in the first place to teach!

In every school, kids will say certain teachers are mean or tough, but dont judge a teacher until you are in his or her class and can see for yourself. In the majority of cases, your teacher is on your side. And a teacher whos called tough may be someone who feels strongly about getting his or her job done teaching you the subject you are supposed to learn. Its also important to remember that making mistakes is a part of learning. By pointing out your errors and helping you correct them, a teacher is teaching you.

How to make a
This little bag is the perfect solution. It is a great size for a tooth and it is quick and easy to make with scraps of felt and ribbon.

Una pieza de 12 cm X 6 cm de tela de algodn. Un pequeo pedazo de tela de algodn blanco (para el diente). Una longitud de 19 cm de cinta. Hilo y una aguja. Tijeras.

Materiales

A 6 cm X 12cm piece of scrap felt. A small piece of white scrap felt (for a tooth). A 19 cm length of ribbon. Thread and a needle. Scissors.

Materials

1.

Cortar una pequea sesin en forma de un diente en un pedazo de tela de algodn blanco y cselo en la parte superior del rectngulo de 6 cm X 12 cm.

Cut a small tooth shape out of a piece of white scrap felt and stitch it to the top section of the 6 cm X 12 cm rectangle of felt.

Pinta lneas en el mentn con un cepillo de dientes. (Tambin puedes usar pintura de cara para hacer una barba rizada en lugar de lneas). Dab stubble on your chin with a toothbrush. (Face paint a curly beard instead of stubble).

Aplica pintura para la cara de color marrn en tu rostro. Pinta unas cejas grandes y un bigote rizado. Sponge light brown face paint over your face. Brush on big eyebrows and a curly mustache.

Cut out an eye patch shape from stiff black paper. Tape a shoelace across the back of the eye patch, near to the top. Preparacin
Preparation:

Agrega el agua hirviendo a la mezcla de gelatina y al azcar combinndolos en un tazn mediano, revolviendo durante 2 minutos, hasta que la gelatina se disuelva por completo. Agrega el agua fra.

Add boiling water to combined gelatin mix and sugar in a medium bowl; stir for 2 min.. Until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in cold water.

Vierte la mezcla en 6 vasos de papel o plstico. Congela durante 2 horas o hasta que est casi firme. Coloca palitos de madera, o cucharitas de plstico en el centro de cada vaso. Pour into 6 paper or plastic cups. Freeze for 2 hours or until it is almost firm. Insert the wooden pop sticks or plastic spoons in the center of each cup.
