Cadiz City as a gateway and a premier center of agro-fishery resources of Negros island.
MISSION
The strategic location of the city with a wide and rich island and marine resources and vast fertile agricultural land, and the completion of the commercial port and the construction of fish port will open a new opportunity for economic growth and increase the level of competitiveness.
PERFORMANCE PLEDGE
We, the Cadiz City government officials and employees, commit ourselves to our respective duties and responsibilities to ensure the best delivery of all frontline services to provide to our people. We shall faithfully perform our assigned task pursuant to the set of standards expressed in our citizens charter, issuances and regulations. This we pledge to develop the trust and confidence of our constituents and to promote greater community support and involvement in local governance.
ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE
Cadiz City has 14 elected officials and six hundred forty-five (645) permanent employees, three (3) temporary employees, twenty three (23) co-terminus employees and thirty four (34) contractual employees, one hundred twenty two (122) assignment order and one thousand six hundred ten (1,610) job order workers. It has eighteen (18) departments, including the Economic Enterprise (Public Market). These are distributed in the different locations in the city. The departments that are located at the city hall are: Offices of the City Mayor, Sangguniang Panlungsod/ Vice Mayor, Legal, Budget, Accountant, Treasurer and General Services. Adjacent to the city hall are the Offices of the Civil Registrar and City Planning and Development Coordinator. Along Cabahug Street, we have the Offices of the City Health Officer and the Don Bernardo Benedicto Birthing Home and Emergency Clinic, the City Public Library, and the City Social Welfare and Development. City Offices located near the Philippine Normal University also along Cabahug Street are the Offices of the City Engineer, City Assessor and the City Information. Located at the reclamation area is the Office of the City Veterinarian and the Cadiz City Slaughterhouse while that of the Office of the Agriculturist is situated along the Gustilo Boulevard near LTO Office. The Economic Enterprise Office is situated at the Cadiz City Public Market.
