4. ALL THE ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY THE COMPETENT

AUTHORITY IN ORIGINAL SHALL COMPULSORILY BE KEPT WITH THE APPLICANTS TO PRODUCE DURING VERIFICATION. IF CANDIDATES FAIL TO PRODUCE THE SAME, THE CANDIDATURE WILL BE REJECTED / DISQUALIFIED WITHOUT ANY FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE. 5. THE APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT FURNISH ANY PARTICULARS THAT ARE FALSE, TAMPERED, FABRICATED OR SUPPRESS ANY MATERIAL INFORMATION WHILE MAKING AN APPLICATION THROUGH THE WEBSITE.

NOTE ON IMPORTANT LEGAL PROVISIONS GOVERNING THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS:


1. Vacancies: The recruitment will be made to the vacancies notified only. There

shall be no waiting list as per the G.O.Ms.No.81, General Administration (Ser.A) Department, Dated 22-2-1997. In any case, no cognizance will be taken by Department of any vacancies arising or reported after the completion of the selection and recruitment process or the last date as decided by the Department

as far as this Notification is concerned, and these will be further dealt with as per G.O. cited above. 2. The persons already in Government Service / Autonomous bodies/ Government aided institutions etc., whether in permanent or temporary capacity or as work charged employees are however required to inform in writing, their Head of Office / Department, that they have applied for this recruitment.
3. Reservation in favour of BC-E group will be subject to the adjudications of the

litigation before the Honourable Courts including final orders in Civil Appeal Nos. 2628-2637/2010 etc., pending before the Supreme Court and orders from the Government or any other binding provisions.
4. In view of the Government Orders, in G.O.Ms.No.3, Backward Classes Welfare

(C-2) Department, dated 4-4-2006, the candidates claiming as belong to Backward Classes have to produce a Certificate regarding their exclusion from the Creamy Layer from the competent authority (Tahsildar). Certificate excluding from Creamy Layer has to be produced at an appropriate time. In case of failure to produce the same on the day of verification, the Candidature will be rejected without further correspondene.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
The candidates should keep the following documents ready before registering online application 1). 2) a) X Class Certificate (for proof in support of Date of Birth) Degree in Homoeopathy / Ayurveda awarded by a University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or State Act or Provincial Act or an Institution recognised by the UGC or any statutory board of the State Government after having undergone regular course of Institutional study in the Homoeopathy / Ayurveda both in theory and Practical for a period not less than (4 ) years duration in a Teaching Institution recognised by the University or state Government with one year compulsory Internship. b) Marks Statements of all the years/ Semesters of Professional Degree issued by the University Concerned. 3). 4) 5) Certificate of completion of internship. Certificate as Registered Medical Practitioner from the Concerned Board. Study Certificate from Class IV to X issued by the School/Institution, which is recognized by the Govt.

Social Status Certificate for SC/ST/BC. Certificate of Disability (Wherever applicable) MODE OF PAYMENT OF FEE: The applicant has to pay Rs.60/- (Rupees Sixty only) towards application processing fee in any of the A.P. Online Centers and obtain the receipt for paying the fees with Journal Number (12 digits) in the first instance. Applicants can also pay the fee through the A.P. Online Portal.

The Eligibility conditions are as follows: i.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must posses a BAMS & BHMS degree for the posts of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) & Medical Officer (Homoeo) respectively awarded by a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any Statutory Board of the State Government.

Must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner within the meaning of law for the time being in force in Andhra Pradesh.

AGE: No person shall be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment, if he/she


is more than (43) years of age as on 1st July, 2011. In respect of BC/SC/ST, the upper age limit is (47) years. (G.O.Ms.No.318, HM&FW(R.2) Dept, Dt. 28-8-2008)

For the posts reserved for different social groups/ physically disabled persons the applicants should submit the relevant certificate issued by the competent authority.

METHOD OF SELECTION:
The selection will be made strictly based on merit by calculating weightage for (2) components, totaling 100 marks in terms of G.O.Rt.No254, HM&FW(I 2) Dept, Dt. 1-2-2011. Weightage of 55 marks will be given for the total marks obtained in all the University Examinations (1st to final year) required for qualifying examination and weightage of 45 marks will be given for the service rendered in the Department of AYUSH, Government of Andhra Pradesh on contract basis up to 25/06/2011 at the scale shown below: 1. The weightage for service will be assigned as follows:a. @ 15 marks per year of contractual service in Tribal areas. b. @ 12 marks per year of contractual service in Rural area.

c. @ 6 marks per year of contractual service in Urban area. 2. Service will be counted at 6 monthly periods i.e., 7 (Seven and half), 6 (six) and 3 (three) marks will be allotted for every 6 months of contractual service in Tribal, Rural and Urban areas respectively. 3. No weightage will be given for the service rendered for less than six months. 4. The candidate will not be given any weightage, if any adverse remarks on the performance of the individual are passed or if the contract was terminated for non-performance or indiscipline. 5. There will be no interview.
6. The certificate of service for contract and performance assessment shall be

issued by the concerned Regional Deputy Director of Department of AYUSH, where the candidate worked on contract. All the appointments will be done as per the provisions of Presidential Order and as per the Roster points.

SCALE OF PAY:
The appointment will be made in pay scale of Rs.18,030-43,630/- plus usual allowances admissible.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The application form after completion of online registration should be got printed and the same should be submitted in the O/o. Commissioner, Department of AYUSH, 5th Floor, APGLI Building, Tilak Road, Abids, Hyderabad 500001 along with attested copies of the following documents: 1). 2). 3). 4). 5). 6). 7). 8). Certificate in proof of Contract Appointment issued by the concerned Regional Deputy Director, Dept of AYUSH Certificate as Registered Medical Practitioner from the Concerned Board. (Updated/renewed) Certificate of Disability (Wherever applicable)

HOW TO UPLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM:

The applicant has to logon to the website http://ayush.cgg.gov.in and click the APPLY ONLINE link. The applicants have to provide payment details (Journal Number and Date of payment) and date of birth. The applicant has to upload the scanned copy of photograph with signature (See instructions for scanning and uploading photograph and signature) and then press on UPLOAD button. Applicant has to fill in all the details in the application format. Press PREVIEW button to check all the details. Press EDIT button if there are any changes. Click SUBMIT button after fully satisfied with the details provided. Immediately on submission of application, applicant will get an acknowledgement in the form a downloadable PDF document. Applicant has to take the print out of the PDF document to submit along with the relevant documents to the Department.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCANNING AND UPLOADING PHOTOGRAPH AND SIGNATURE


I. Instructions for Scanning of Photograph with Signature

1. Paste the Colour Photo on any white paper as per the above required

dimensions. Sign in the Signature Space provided. Ensure that the signature is within the box.
2. Scan the above required size containing photograph and signature. Please do

not scan the complete page.


3. The entire image (of size 3.5 cm by 6.0 cm) consisting of the photo along with the

signature is required to be scanned and stored in *.jpg format on local machine. 4. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB.
5. If the size of the file is more than 50 KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner

such as the dpi resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.
6. The candidate has to subscribe full signature in the box provided. Since the

signature is proof of identity, it must be genuine and in full; initials are not sufficient. Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS is not permitted.

7. The signature must be signed only by the candidate and not by any other person.

LAST DATE:
The online registration will be allowed from 10-06-2011 to 25-06-2011 and the system will not accept any online registration after 5.00 P. M of 25-06-2011. The last date for submission of the printed application form along with copies of concerned documents at O/o the Commissioner, Department of AYUSH, Tilak Road, Abids, Hyderabad as per above list is 30-06-2011 by 5.00 P.M. The Department will not be held responsible for any postal delay, whatsoever. The intending applicants should ensure the receipt of applications within the time prescribed.

NOTE:
The following categories of applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in that regard. i). If the applications are not registered through Online ii). If the copies of all the required documents are not submitted. iii). If wrong information is provided in the printed application form. iv). The candidates not fulfilling requirements in terms of Qualification, age, registration / up to date renewal of the Medical Registration Certificate with the concerned board etc. v). Candidates previously disqualified by the Dept /Government for employment. The Commissioner, Department of AYUSH, Hyderabad reserves the right to cancel the selection without specifying any reasons.
