Queries PROPOSAL SUBMSSION Weather we need to submit an EOI or a detailed Proposal (Both Technical & Financial Bid), as the document mentions regarding both. Weather, one has to submit their EOI/Proposal separately for each of the Three Components for each City or a combined EOI/Proposal. If combined, shall we have only one Team for all the Three Components or exclusive Teams for each Component and Do we have to give a Component wise breakup in the Financial bid. It is mentioned that we need to submit our type of work and interested cities. Do we need to work for all 3 types of assignment or can we opt as per our choice? Is there any limit for number of cities to be selected? If we submit for more than 1 city, do we need to submit separate technical documents or a common one will suffice?
Comments
A Technical proposal and a financial proposal as per the format given in the EOI document.
ii
Separate proposal for each Part of work. Exclusive team for each Part is desirable
iii
No Limit on the number of cities and you can select the type of work.
iv
One document is enough but exclusive teams are desirable. Refer the EOI doc regarding the no. of copies to be submitted.
Is the consortium or association allowed here? If yes, how many firms can form the consortium? It is mentioned that the consultancy should have undertaken GIS based map preparation and developed MIS projects for minimum 3
Agencies/Consulting firms can engage subconsultants. No each city should have an area of 100 sq km ( revised).
vii
cities with an area of minimum 150 sq. kms Does it mean that the total area of 3 cities needs to be 150 sq.kms? Secondly, should each firm in the consortium need to satisfy this clause or can it be as a joint? viii It is mentioned that the agency/ consultants should have completed at-least two major urban planning for an area with minimum of 5 lakhs population and experienced in handling minimum 5 GIS based city planning projects. Will you consider experience of on-going projects for these criteria? Secondly, should each firm in the consortium need to satisfy this clause or can it be as a joint? B I PROJECT DETAILS If a Proposal is to be submitted, there is a lot of base data/information regarding each city viz., population, jurisdiction, slum details, etc which need to be ascertained, which apparently is not provided in the Document. We request if you could share some demographic and socio-economic data for each city. This is very essential for finalizing our methodology, team, activities and other components of the Proposal. In light of nonavailability of this information, we request for possibility of extension of proposal submission date.
Experience of ongoing projects would be considered however completed projects will have an higher weightage. Consortium is not allowed but you may have sub consultants who satisfy the criteria.
RAY is a slum free city plan and the ULB have identified the slums based on the criteria fixed by the Govt. Socio-economic survey will be conducted by the respective Corporations and survey details would be shared with the consultants, who will be awarded the work. Extension possible. of submission date is not
ii
Can you please provide the details of entire project duration and total project cost?
During the 12th Plan Not possible to disclose the project cost at this stage.

The Tender Processing Fee (Rs.5000/-), is it a combined fee for all Cities/Components or a separate Fee of Rs.5000/- for each City/Component of the EOI/Proposal TEAM STRUCTURE lf a consultant is giving Expression of interest for more than one Corporation then, the key personnels for each component will remain the same for all the Corporations and additional categories of staff can be engaged separately for each Corporation.
Tender processing for each Part is 5000/- , the firm can quote for one or more cities for each Part, no separate fee for each city.
