Creating a basic Ad Hoc Query At the moment I'm using the SAP BW 3.5. OK, let's start. Please follow me, step by step: 1. Open Query Designer.
4. Please click New Query button to create a query in BEx Query Designer.
7. Drag/Drop your object for Filters, Free Characteristics, Rows and Columns.
13. Like as BEx Analyzer, you can set filter value, drilldown, sort, difine exception and condition, etc.
16. Exception is created. The cells of Quantity Column displayed difference colour.

19. You can do "drilldown" as well as other operations like as BEx Analyzer.
20. Now, return the Query Designer and define a physical exception
