STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE: Open Public Meeting Act OPEN PUBLIC MEETING STATEMENT: This meeting is being held in conformity to the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq. Proper public notice of the meeting was published in the local papers on June 25 and June 26, 2011. If any Board member or member of the public in attendance believes that the meeting is in violation of the Open Public Meetings Act, the Hoboken Board of Education requests that they make a statement at this time. The Board wishes to make those in attendance aware that this meeting is being recorded on video and will be broadcast by the Board at a later date on CATV Channel 77. RESOLUTION No. GP0021-11-12 SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF A SIDEBAR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE HOBOKEN BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE HOBOKEN EDUCATION ASSOCIATION WITH REGARD TO THE POSITON OF ATHLETIC TRAINER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, approves a Sidebar Agreement between The Hoboken Board of Education and The Hoboken Education Association concerning the new Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer will work from August 15, 2011 through June 15, 2012. As a certified staff member the new Athletic Trainer is entitled to representation by the Association and has been placed on the appropriate step of the salary guide set forth in the Agreement. He must work a minimum of 1,169 hours during the time period. If the Athletic Trainer exceeds 1,169 hours, he shall be entitled to compensation at the rate of $34 per hour.
