Introduction
On Day One, when Wyeth colleagues become part of Pzer, Pzer colleagues will continue to use Outlook and legacy
Wyeth colleagues will continue to use GroupWise for email and calendaring. Meeting invitations can be exchanged
between GroupWise and Outlook, but certain functionalities are different or do not work. This document explains
some of the differences and provides best practices for managing meetings when working between these two systems.
Important Differences Between Outlook and GroupWise Calendaring Systems
- Colendor free/busy ovolloblllty connot be vlewed ln the other" system
- Concelled meetlngs ore NO1 removed from the colendor of ottendees ln the other" system
- pdoted meetlngs result ln o dupllcote meetlng for users ln the other" system
- Pecurrlng meetlngs do not work correctly ond should not be scheduled wlth colleogues uslng the other" system
- If meetlng lnvltes ore forworded (or delegoted) to others, they wlll not recelve future chonges or updotes to the meetlng

For conference rooms that are booked through Outlook or GroupWise, schedulers cannot view the meeting rooms

the room at the desired location.
What happens when invitees accept/decline a meeting request?
An email response is sent to the meeting organizer.
