ANNEXURE 1.The suppliers will have to provide free training for at least two operators at each place of installation free of cost. 2.Supplier shall have facilities for tests as per inspection report proforma.Resolution in dpi for 400 dpi and 600 dpi machines shall be checked by objective comparison of the prints with those taken from 300 dpi machines. 3.Digtal Duplicator shall be type tested for the following Environmental tests sequence at a Govt. Lab. (a)Dry heat test : 4 hrs. at 45 degree C in accordance with IS:9000 / Part-3/Section-5/1977 (reaffirmed 2004). (b)Cold test : 4 hrs. at (-)10 degree C in accordance with IS:9000 / Part-2/Section-4/1977 (reaffirmed 2004). (c)Damp heat Cyclic test: Two Cycles of (12+12)hrs. at 40 degree C and 95% RH in accordance with IS:9000 /Part-5/Section-2/1981(reaffirmed 2004). Type test report shall include checks of documents & Image size capacity, enlargement/reduction and zoom (where applicable), resolution (on comparative basis), power consumption & checks on speed & quality of print,for different paper thickness before the environmental tests sequence .The checks for speed & quality of print for different paper thickness shall be repeated after the environmental tests sequence allowing a recovery period of 1 to 2 hours and shall show no deterioration in machine performance. 4.Following documents shall be produced by the firm at the time of inspection. (a)Catalogue/ specification sheet of the manufacturer. (b)Type test reports from any govt. laboratory for the product duly indicating the serial number of the tested machine, make, model , country of origin and actual test result values for all major specified parameters including environmental tests sequence.
