Hema Rosheny bt Mustafa : 07-5535130 : hemarosheny@utm.my : This course prepares students for the skills needed to perform academic tasks such as extracting information from texts taken from different sources, producing academic assignments, listening to lectures, and presenting ideas orally and exchanging views. It emphasises on various skills such as reading academic texts, identifying main ideas, making and expanding notes into coherent writing. At the end of the course, students should be able to apply the skills in an academic setting when communicating in both oral and written discourse.
