List of Holidays for the calendar year 2011.

Dates Festival 14th & 15th January, 2011 Makar Sankranti 26th January,2011 Republic Day 20th March,2011 Duleti 13th August,2011 Raksha Bandan 15th August,2011 Independence Day 22nd August,2011 Janmashtmi 2nd October,2011 Gandhi Jayanthi 6th October, 2011 Dashera 26th October,2011 Diwali 27th October,2011 New Year 28th October,2011 Bhaibheej The other than Hindu confirmed employee can avail additional 2 Holidays/year to celebrate festivals of their religious beliefs. Such employee has to coordinate with HR Department and update them upfront the leave he/ she intend to take on such festivals. Above list of holidays are subject to Gujarat region only. Out Station (Rest of Gujarat) employees has to confirm all the leaves with HR Department. HR will coordinate with Head of Departments and declare the holiday case to case. Employees' Personal Leaves This policy encourages our employees to take break from work as this provides for a healthy and efficient staff. The leave policy sets out the various types of leaves that an employee is eligible for and outlines the procedure for taking leaves. Casual Leaves - Confirmed employee can avail 7 Casual leaves in a financial year. To avail this leave employee has to fill up leave form and submit it to the HR Department prior to 48 hours of working days. HR Department would sanction/reject the application after coordinating with Heads of Department. Medical Leaves Confirmed employee can avail 7 Medical leaves in a financial year. On resuming the office employee has to fill up the leave form and submit it to the HR Department with signed by Head of Department on the same day. In case of more than 3 days Medical Leave, employee has to give written explanation along with Medical certificates to HR Department. Paid Leave - Confirmed employee can avail 7 Paid Leaves in a financial year. Employee are supposed to take enough care for not to use Paid leaves as it can be en cashed.

Leave Policies & Procedures


How to apply for leave ? All employees in the company are requested to plan their leaves in advance, wherever possible, in the most judicious way. It should be done in consultation with immediate Superior/ Manager than the same should be approved by the HR Team so as to have the optimum number of employees in the department at every time for smooth operation.
Medical & Casual leaves can be accumulated for a maximum of 3 years.

Paid leaves can be accumulated for a maximum of 3 years Medical & Casual leaves can not be encashed. Paid leaves can be encashed or banked in month of April every year. At the time of encashment , salary of an employee for period when leaves are credited will be considered for reimbursement and not the salary at the time of reimbursement. Probation employee can take maximum of 6 days leave during probation period, for which salary will be deducted. In case of multiples Late comings/Early Out/Lunch late comings/ Rest late comings, leaves will be adjusted against the P.L and subsequently ML & CL. Except Medical leaves, all emergency leaves / leave without permission / leaves with immediate permission (Less that 24 working hours)/ Non submission of leave application will be deducted from PL and subsequently ML & CL. Even in case of no Pending C.L & M.L employees are expected to follow the leave application procedures. Leave card for each confirmed employee will be maintained on monthly basis. In the event of an employee leaving the service of the organization by the way of resignation, he/she shall not adjust his ML , CL, OT leaves during the notice period. However, he can use his PL during notice period.

Leave Policies & Procedures


Marriage Leave Employee can avail a maximum of 15 days leave for his marriage (Including two sundays & Public holidays in between). To avail this leave employee has to fill up leave form and submit it to the HR Department prior to 30 days. HR Department would sanction the application after coordinating with Heads of Department. However, all leaves will be adjusted from his pending leaves in case of no pending leave salary will be deducted. Maternity Leaves All female employees who have completed 1 year of continuous employment in the company are eligible for maternity benefit for a period of 12 weeks . (Including sundays & Public holidays). Maternity leaves are unpaid leaves ,however employee can use their pending leaves. To avail this leave employee has to fill up the leave form and submit it to the HR Department prior to 30 days. HR Department would sanction the application after coordinating with the Heads of Department.

Paternity Leave A male confirmed employee shall be entitled to ONE day's leave on birth of a child by his legal wife. This is only applicable for up to TWO Children in the family. Examination Leaves - We expect all employees should educate themselves up to graduation and Post graduation and apply their academic knowledge in to practical scenario and grow with the company. Confirmed employees can use their pending leaves for examination purpose not exceeding 6 days at a time. However, this should not be allowed more than once in a year.

Office Hours & Time Keeping


Office Hours : Monday to Friday 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM Saturday 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM Lunch Hours : 1.00 PM to 1.30 PM All employees are supposed to return back to the work place latest by 1.40 PM.
Employees are expected to come early such that they can access their card and mark their attendance on Time. Employee who comes after 10.15 AM before 11.30 AM will be marked as Late In Employee who comes after 11.30 AM before 2.30 PM will be marked as Half Day. Employee who leaves the company for the day after 6.00 PM before 7.00 PM will be marked as Early Out. Employee who leaves the company for the day after 2.30 PM before 6.00 PM will be marked as Half Day. It is compulsory for all employees to access the card without fail for every IN/OUT. For every 3 Late In / Early Out 1 leave will be deducted PL and subsequently ML, CL. In case of No pending leaves 1 days salary will be deducted. For every 3 Lunch late In (after 1.40) half day leave will be deducted PL and subsequently ML,CL. In case of No Pending leaves Half day salary will be deducted. For every 2 Half Days 1 leaves will be deducted. In case of no pending leaves salary will be deducted. Employee has to make a Leave application for the same. Employee has to inform his superior or HR Person before 11.00 am in case of emergency/Medical leave. Employee has to inform by call. No messages should be entertained. No half day will be availed on Saturday.
