Vincent Cataldi The ULF Pulses from th Sun were different on the 15th.

When I first saw the pictures of this odd phenomena it was obvious that dust could not have played any part it's construction, the radar image was too clear and consistent to be formed by chance alone. Vincent Cataldi Roo : I am still not sure I 'see' all the data these images above show. Yet sometimes it makes more sense than during other events. The absorption graphs show me more, I suspect. This is what caught my eye and attention : "I decided to check back on my previous recordings from my detector of ULF pulses from the Sun. All those previous 12 hour recordings for January were normal, except for the one recorded on the 15th January 2010." Using the sur energy via solar wind, and 'knowing' what is coming is my favorite thing to think about and research - and the Birleland Currents and their inductive nature are where I keep looking, in conjunction with a solar reconnection pulsing frequency.

I even went looking for how to build a ULF solar pulse detector. Have you ever made one as a toy to play with, or dreamed of doing so ? I also tried to understand how ESCAT/HAARP may differ from JORN (Jindalee Operational Radar Network) - followed it back to jindalee.net which appears to do Earth penetrating tomography for mineral exploration - but not sure if the chicken or egg came first ! May be a revenue generator and the public view, for the installations. Jorn does seem to differ from escat/harp in some major manner, any thoughts - is it unimportant in your opinion ? RE : "I am more interested in the recurring pattern of "streaking meteor trail like things" that show up running east to west along lines of latitude in some of the radar maps." - me too, I call them a cosmic bullet, - they do come from different directions, but this varies over long time, and they come across the country (slowly, IMO) at a uniform angle - and more confusing to me, can seem to turn the NexRad stations on and off - but is it a cause or effect? I also see two other different types of streaks I archived in the raw data - so these 'cosmic bullets' are a curious matter - meteor showers and ionized atmosphere, cosmic particles, or a high altitude satellite are thoughts I consider. ..................................................................................... Comets & Lightning Jets I recently picked up a second-hand book titled The Big Splash by Dr. Louis Frank of the University of Iowa. Although it was published in 1990, the issues it raised remain unresolved. The cover proclaims excitedly in large bold type: A scientific discovery that revolutionizes the way we view the origin of life, the water we drink, the death of the dinosaurs, the creation of the oceans, the nature of the cosmos, and the very future of the Earth itself. Dr. Frank comes with impeccable credentials. He was a full professor at 32 and at the time of writing the book was reputed to have more instruments on more spacecraft than anyone else on the planet. The flyleaf of the book announces Franks interpretation of his discovery of mysterious holes punched in the uppermost reaches of the Earths atmosphere: Every minute, twenty 100-ton comets, made up of water and ice, slam into the Earths atmosphere. Each is about the size of a small house. According to Frank, these comets have been dumping water on the Earth for more than 4 billion years. Further you will notice an almost permanent "fan" or "circular/spiral" (whatever pattern you wish to describe) over SE Qld. If you untick the satellite box you will see what I mean, a different type of pattern exists over SW WA as well. But the other day I saw a pattern I have never seen before. I have images collected going back to 1996. BTW I used to live in SE Qld for many years, (now in Townsville) and from the ground these patterns are identifiable by clouds that are in a an almost 'wagon wheel' format all pointing to a centre! Often they are like cloud fingers, my guess is the radar at Amberly but with the location and frequency it is more likely the Golf Ball Radar (doplar) installations placed almost every 500klm around the coast to "track" (read manipulate) our weather systems.... Paul" Interesting that mention is made of clouds in a spoke pattern matching the radar image. But I did not see any satellite weather photos to show that. Maybe I missed the link. There is a lot of data there. I have thought that water vapor patterns in the lower atmosphere may be affected by EMF fields in the ionosphere, giving a "ghost" or "shadow picture" of those fields. I am more interested in the recurring pattern of "streaking meteor trail like things" that show up running east to west along lines of latitude in some of the radar maps. See comment # 6 to the album posted below (starts with "Quinn I don't know..." https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.188707071173627.44203.100001030064514&type=1 In hindsite I think only the latitudial lines will show up, like the belts of Jupiter. The west/east flow of the atmosphere would prevent stable longitudinal lines from forming.

Magnetospheric Currents T. A. Potemra When viewed from outer space, the earth's magnetic field does not resemble a simple dipole but is severely distorted into a comet-shaped configuration by the continuous flow of solar wind plasma. A complicated system of currents flows within this distorted magnetic field configuration called the magnetosphere. For example, the compression of the geomagnetic field by the solar wind plasma on the dayside of the earth is associated with a large-scale current flowing across the geomagnetic field lines, called the Chapman-Ferraro or magnetopause current. The magnetospheric system includes large-scale currents that flow in the tail, Birkeland currents that flow along geomagnetic field lines into and away from the two auroral regions, the ring current that flows at high altitudes around the equator of the earth, and a complex system of currents that flows completely within the layers of the ionosphere, the earth's ionized atmosphere. The intensities of these various currents reach millions of amperes and are closely related to solar activity. [ www.agu.org/books/gm/v028/ ]

Vincent Cataldi Very few people have taken the time to follow the leads in the various documents and threads and put together the GLOBAL NETWORK While HAARP itself may not have the power to create a planetary shield (for missile defense and solar radiation) the world wide network certainly does.

So for this thread I will leave the much discussed Alaskan HAARP in the side lines for now and lets do a tour of the other facilities around the world. First a little bit on connections to other facilities. In reports like the NAVY Press Release of Dr Paul A. Bernhard... we see some terms already... Vincent Cataldi Paul A. Bernhardt received his Bachelors degree (1971) from the University of California at Santa Barbara in the Electrical Engineering Department. His Masters (1972) and Ph.D. (1976) degrees in Electrical Engineering are from Stanford University. From 1971 to 1973, he was a design engineer at the Naval Missile Center, Pt. Mugu, California. From 1976 to 1980, Dr. Bernhardt held the positions, respectively, of Post Doctorate Research Affiliate, Research Associate, and Senior Research Associate at Stanford University. Starting in 1981, he was a member of the technical staff of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 1987, Dr. Bernhardt left Los Alamos for the position of Research Physicist at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). In 1990, he was promoted to his current position, Senior Research Physicist, in the Plasma Physics Division at NRL. His research interests have been primarily in the areas of (1) ionospheric modification with high-power radio waves and chemical releases, and (2) satellite-based radio-beacon sensing of space plasmas. From 1985 to 1999, Dr. Bernhardt used the high-power High Frequency facility near Arecibo, Puerto Rico and Nizhny Novgorod, Russia to record the first CCD images of artificial aurora at mid latitudes. These images illuminated natural and artificial irregularities in the ionosphere. From 1992 to 1994, Dr. Bernhardt served on the Arecibo Users and Science Advisory Council. Dr. Bernhardt is currently sponsored for ionospheric modification research by the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in Alaska. Dr. Bernhardt has pioneered the use of chemical releases to modify the ionosphere. His ionospheric modification experiments have been monitored with Incoherent Scatter Radar (ISR) systems around the world and with in situ plasma probes provided to the Plasma Physics Division at NRL. The 1992 NRL Ionospheric Focused Heating (IFH) experiment combined chemical release and high-power radio wave technology to produce the highest level of plasma turbulence ever measured with the Arecibo ISR. From 1985 to the present, Dr. Bernhardt has conducted over eight experiments using the Space Shuttle Orbital Maneuver Subsystem (OMS) engines to modify the ionosphere with high-speed exhaust injections into the upper atmosphere. The results of these dedicated engine burns have been recorded using the VHF and UHF radars at Arecibo, Puerto Rico; Kwajalein, Marshall Islands; Millstone Hill, Massachusetts; and Jicamarca, Peru. Currently, Dr. Bernhardt is the Principal Investigator for the Charged Aerosol Release Experiment (CARE) to study the scattering of radar from electrons in the vicinity of charged particulates that form artificial dusty plasmas. The Coherent Electromagnetic Radio Tomography (CERTO) and Computerized Ionospheric Tomography Receiver in Space (CITRIS) programs were started at NRL by Dr. Bernhardt to provide global, satellite-based sensors of ionospheric space weather. In the next four years, ten CERTO beacons and one CITRIS receiver are scheduled to be launched on low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellites that will monitor both integrated electron densities and plasma irregularities. The data from these sensors will provide now-casting for navigation and communications system outages caused by the ionosphere with one-hundred times better resolution than are provided by GPS radio signals. The CERTO and CITRIS programs are supported by the Plasma Physics Division (Code 6700) and Naval Center for Space Technology (Code 8000) at NRL. Dr. Bernhardt has published over one-hundred papers in ionospheric and space physics. He holds patents for hyper-spectral imaging and radio beacon design. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) and is a member of the American Geophysical Union (AGU). For AGU, he has been an associate Editor of the Journal of Geophysical Research (JGR) and the journal Radio Science as well as a member of the AGU Books Board Editor. He is also a member of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) where he was Chairman of the U.S. Commission on Waves in Plasmas (1994-1997), and is currently Member-at-Large of the US National Commission of URSI. Then I realised that the strange doughnut shape object was captured by radar, also on the 15th Jan. Hardly a coincidence. (See referenced image and info after the chart) I have designed and built an Ultra Low Freqency detector, along with a unique non inductive magnetic pulse sensor element. The sensitivity of the detector is very high, and free from EM radiation interference I have also successfully recorded ULF magnetic energies, from the Sun, that have been reflected from the Moon to Earth. The "ring" is very reflective to Radar energies, possibly in the form of a well controlled plasma magnetic vortex. An important point to consider is that the image is consistent, no matter where it is discovered. Colin, I have attached a chart recording taken on the 15th of Jan 2010 and superimposed on the chart is a trace recorded on the 24th of January 2010, as a sample of a regular recording of the Sun. The reason for the narrow vertical nature of the trace is because of the Magnetic Sensor's unusually narrow beamwidth. Bearden, another email I found interesting re the thoughts of a scalar possibility from a military radar technical expert. ....................................................................... From: Michael Relfe Subject: RE: The Ring over Australia 2 To: "'Colin Andrews'" Date: Thursday, January 21, 2010, 4:19 PM The picture of the "radar rings" is the result of a test period for a Tesla Shield Generator. The correct question is "What type of government installation is located at the center of that image" Hi Similar images can be located on the _www.cyberspaceorbit.comwebsite (it is frozen and still available even though the creator has passed on) I think they are filed under radar rings or something similar. The give away is the fact that it is a ring, with a clear area inside. As a former Navy radar technician I am familiar with almost any type of radar return and what is displayed is actually impossible unless you are familiar with Tom Beardens description of a fourier transformed scalar wave and how it just appears at a certain point. A slow scalar wave is transmitted, then a faster scalar wave is transmitted. When the faster wave overtakes the slower wave, the two waves pair couple and create a standing wave at that point. If you transmit this with an omni-directional antenna, you have a bubble or shield around the transmitting station / area. Hope this helps. Its nice to see tax dollars at work doing something good for a change. Sincerely

Vincent Cataldi A Review of NEXRAD Level II: Data, Distribution, and Applications For the first time, the full national feed of Weather Surveillance Radars (WSR-88D) highest resolution Level II data is available in real-time from the National Weather Service via a collaborative distribution partnership with universities. This data provides observations of precipitation and wind fields with extraordinarily fine temporal and spatial resolution, which are critical for understanding, monitoring, and predicting severe weather and flooding events. The Level II radar data stream also presents an exciting opportunity for universities and the broader communityincluding commercial enterprisesfor use in severe storm research and prediction, hydrological cycles research, precipitation estimation and measurement, transportation logistics, combination and co-location with complementary in situ and remote sensing networks, 3-D visualization, model-data assimilation, emergency response, homeland security assessments, and education enterprises at all levels. By enabling free, unrestricted, and real-time access to Level II data, the stage is set for a major evolution in our ability to probe and understand atmospheric and hydrologic processes and phenomena. http://docs.lib.purdue.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1042&context=jto&seiredir=1#search=%22nexrad%20extensive%20communications%20network%20laser%22

Vincent Cataldi Jim Hodges of SRI International in Menlo Park, California called me at my office in Tuscon on Thursday, January 13, 1994, to explain that radio emissions from a NEXRAD planned for the area might have an effect on radio astronomy telescopes (and, to some extent, optical telescopes) used in the finer observatories. Weather radars and astronomical observatories were not a part of my everyday work experience. Jim said it would be necessary to have a blocking mountain somewhere between the Submillimeter Telescope (SMMT) on the mountain next to Mt. Graham and the NEXRAD, which was to be in the Empire Mountains southeast of Tucson. The blocking mountain would prevent the radar pulses from interfering with observations made from the mountain. The radar pulses would add phantom stars and "spots" to the observatory's sky charts.

Vincent Cataldi Thomas Edward Walker - you may like this ! While NEXRAD is the most advanced radar system currently in use for acquiring data about the weather, it is susceptible to various types of errors and interference. In addition to mechanical and electrical failures, calibration and alignment problems, NEXRAD imagery is brought to us as the result of a computer taking the responses from the radar and passing it through algorithms to produce the image we see. In addition to airborne anomalies (i.e, things that are really in the air but are not of interest, such as dust, pollen, birds), the software algorithms can come up with very spectacular images when it receives data from the radar that isn't contemplated by the algorithm--such as the data produced from an out-of-alignment radar or from a radar that is suffering part failure. When Hodges came to me, he already had identified two small mountains that lined up just about right. Our job was to verify that this would all work out. I scratched my head a little, but he spared no effort in helping me to understand the principles and methods used to make his determinations. I thought it best to ask him to jump in and give an overview of just how he did this magic, and to save my efforts for the surveying part. www.profsurv.com/magazine/article.aspx?i=210

Vincent Cataldi Roo Reindeer : OK - goto love your point (a cycle) : look, poke, adjust poke, observe, --> control comes 'within the process of examining interactively', any system - So, OTHR, OTHBR, EISCAT, HAARP, JOORN - all need radar at higher frequency to make atmospheric tomography in very fine resolution -- ultimately pushing a metaphoric electron microscope into an electron tunneling microscope - able to push things around at a molecular scale. So, I suspect we Need to use Nexrad II Radar for this or the 'near space' and more distant regions of the virtual Earth, within our Solar system EM potential dynamics. o
Vincent Cataldi Advances in Operational Weather Radar Technology This article describes recent Lincoln Laboratory activities that significantly enhance the operational effectiveness of the nations Doppler weather radar networks. An open radar controller and digital signal processor has been developed for the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR), which provides safety-critical low-altitude wind-shear warnings at large airports. This processor utilizes a small computer cluster architecture and standards-based software to realize high throughput and expansion capability. Innovative signal processing algorithmsenabled by the new processorsignificantly improve the quality of the precipitation and wind measurements provided by TDWR. In a parallel effort, the Laboratory is working with engineers in the National Weather Service to augment the national NEXRAD Doppler weather radar networks algorithm suite. Laboratory staff develop and test enhancements directed at the aviation weather problem. Then they provide plug-and-play software to the NEXRAD second-level engineering support organization. This effort has substantially improved the operational value of NEXRAD data for the aviation system. Finally, we discuss nascent efforts to define a future multifunction radar network using an active-array architecture, which could realize the capabilities of todays multiple weather and air traffic control radar networks. www.ll.mit.edu/publications/journal/pdf/vol16_no1/16_1_2Weber.pdf WHEN: April 18, 2011 to June 17, 2011 DETAILS: The AWIPS Program is planning on expanding the bandwidth on the AWIPS Satellite Broadcast Network SBN / NOAAPort feed from 10Mbps to about 30Mbps. As part of this expansion, the SBN / NOAAPort feed will also be transitioning from the current DVB-S standard to the more efficient DVB-S2 standard. Accordingly, all sites will be required to upgrade their hardware to support the DVB-S2 Standard. The AWIPS Program has selected the receiver for the SBN / NOAAPort Expansion Project (see Receiver Specification sheet) We will be implementing a single data stream that will require Variable Coding Modulation (VCM) over Multi-Protocol Encapsulation (MPE) which is supported by our selected receiver. We understand that one or more other models of DVB-S2 Receivers also may be suitable. To aid our customers with the transition, there will be a 30 day window of Dual Illumination: April 18, 2011 to June 17, 2011. This will allow AWIPS Sites and NOAAPort Customers adequate time to complete the transition. During this transition period, the full SBN / NOAAPort feed will be disseminated both in DVB-S and DVB-S2. The driving force of this bandwidth expansion and hardware upgrade is to support the dissemination of additional data products over the SBN / NOAAPort such as: Dual Polarization Products GOES and POES Satellite Products Analysis and Forecast Products (Model Data) Current Plans dictate that any new voluminous product additions will need to be held until after the initial SBN Bandwidth Expansion phase has been completed. Many of the other post with expert opinions and facts (??) say it is not as you suspect - and this one article is not an expert as he had to invent words - he was an investigator, as we are - and he chose individual sites, under very specific conditions, and then made overall assumptions. The suspected communications I believed I saw exist ! Frequencies used by haarp or caused by haarp (or the like) do operate through the NexRad range of visibility. All I "Know" is that the massive amount of data I found is a lot to read and re-read - my conclusion is not very near it seems, as it all seems 'possible' still, despite the one (best) article (material) that argues it is nothing to look at seriously. I can not determine who he is, nor if he had an agenda, or experience/education in the field - heck - is he real - too many unknowns to call it proof as I see it. Please alert me if you find answers that address what my videos show and describe - nearly all of these are ignored in this one article.

Thomas Edward Walker Thanks Vince, for the information regarding Nexrad. Interesting how things get over analyzed. Your post to me helps prove my point. as in any electrical / mechanical system, things can, and do happen that could be anybody's guess, and it may seem logical, but research is the delineator, now, you know. HAARP has nothing to do with the "RINGS".

Vincent Cataldi Efficiency Scaling for Ionospheric ELF/VLF Generation Abstract: Using experimental measurements and theoretical analysis, it is shown that the HF/ELF conversion efficiency is controlled by the timescale for electron temperature saturation. This is a function of the heater ERP and frequency and the ionospheric electron density profile. For the current HAARP parameters this corresponds to frequencies between 2 and 4 kHz. Efficiency optimization techniques as applied to the projected upgrading of the HAARP heater to its design power of 3.6 MW are discussed. A most fascinating and important property of the active ionosphere is its potential to act as a frequency transformer that converts HF power injected from a high power HF transmitter into the ionosphere, into coherent lower frequency VLF/ELF/ULF waves. The conversion principle relies on modulating the electrojet currents in the ionospheric D and E regions by using amplitude modulated HF heating. The low frequency fields subsequently couple to the earth-ionosphere waveguide, while a fraction of their power upwards towards the magnetosphere. Despite several years of theoretical and experimental work, many scientific and technical issues remain unresolved. Understanding the physics underlying the low frequency wave generation is important in increasing the HF to ELF conversion efficiency and utilizing the technique for ionospheric diagnostics. A puzzling feature in the results of the experiments conducted using the EISCAT and the HAARP ionospheric heaters, has been the variation of the conversion efficiency with ELF/VLF frequency and the unusually large relative amplitude of the harmonics. Prominent features of the data are: 1. Enhanced efficiency relative to the neighboring frequencies at 2 kHz and its harmonics. 2. Maximum efficiency in the frequency range between 2-4 kHz. Efficiency proportional to the frequency f between 2 kHz and 500 Hz. Weak increase in efficiency between 500 and 100 Hz. Efficiency proportional to 1/f between 4 and 10 kHz. 3. Harmonics with significant relative amplitudes up to ten or larger are present. The amplitudes of the harmonics are much higher than expected from Fourier analysis of the HF heating waveform www.ursi.org/Proceedings/ProcGA02/papers/p0936.pdf

The suspicious activity is indicated in three areas: On the Induction Magnetometer traces for Mar 08 to 11 at 2.5 Hz. Continuous activity for 3 days , stopping shortly after the quake. Also the Static Magnetometer trace (H component. North-South) At precisely 0546 UTC it dives after a large transient peak. It also had high transients the day before following the initial 7.2 mag that really started this series. And the Riometer that indicates ionospheric absorbtion at 30 Mhz. (unfortunately only at that one frequency) which shows jumpy ionospheric activity in the 3/10 to 3/12 span. https://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=100001030064514&aid=44203 None of this is a smokeing gun. The question is a chicken and egg. However: The geodynamo certainly affects the ionosphere. It is less wel accepted but probably true that the ionosphere affects the geodynamo field. The sun affects the ionosphere. HAARP affects the ionosphere. Earth tides affect the geodynamo. ETC So the question becomes one of attempting to show a causal chain from HAARP to ionosphere to geodynamo to seismic action. Which this does not do. But it is suggestive in light of what has been published by HAARP researchere themselves in the open literature. See next post.

Quinn Sysmith Is there tech/data out there (satellite, etc?) that can monitor VLF waves at these locations?

VLF RCVR Sites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEDu9bYZ7GM It is important to note that the majority of these sites are for reception only. They do not have highpower transmitters. However this actually tends to confirm the hypothesis that HAARP technology is related to seismic activity. The VLF waves, (and the more important ELF) are not generated by HAARP or similar facilities directly. Their low frequency limit is in the HF range, a few megahertz. They generate the lower frequencies by using HF waves to heat the ionosphere and induce movements in it which then excite the VLF/ELF waves indirectly. These then flow back and forth in the ground/ionosphere/waveguide system on a global scale. These are not "beams" in the classic radar sense however. The wavelengths are hundreds or thousands of kilometers long. They can not be "beamed". However by setting up a series of standing wave patterns around the globe from multiple heated sources in the ionosphere it is possible to make sure the resultant energy is maximized at certain points by mutual interference, while minimizeing it everywhere else The interaction of the heated layers of the ionosphere, the solar wind, the earth's magnetic field and possibly other factors determine the nature and distribution of the resultant waves. This can only be imperfectly modeled at this time. To some extant they are flying blind. They can not put the low frequency energy where they want it without feedback. They need the equivalent of artillery spotters. This is a tricky process which requires a number of receiving stations to determine the distribution of the VLF/ELF waves so produced. They are then able to adjust the HF heating action to fine tune the final distribution (targeting) of the VLF/ELF energy. The basic ideas outlined above are admitted in these Stanford HAARP documents. You just have to read a bit between the lines, but not much: http://www-star.stanford.edu/~vlf/interferometry/VLFinfer.htm http://www-star.stanford.edu/~vlf/pars/pars.htm Excerpt: "One of the research topics of present interest is the generation of ELF/VLF waves through HF heating of the auroral electrojet, the intense current system that flows in the auroral regions between 70 and 120 km altitude. Potential DoD applications of this research are to provide communications to submerged submarines at ELF frequencies and to use the generated waves to locate and probe underground structures. The purpose of the ELF/VLF current imaging array is to provide an experimental tool that can be used to determine the HF heater-induced time varying electrojet currents that actually radiate the ELF/VLF waves. Without this knowledge there is presently little hope of understanding and optimizing the process by which the waves are produced." http://vlf.stanford.edu/sites/default/files/publications/2010-04.pdf "6. An ELF/VLF Phased Array [46] Since the effect of duty cycle and phasing from oblique heating appear to be small and counteracting, these experiments appear to be consistent with the notion that geometric modulation is able to produce stronger and directable signals in significant part due to the effective creation of a large-element ELF/VLF phased array. Individual beam locations create separate and independently radiating regions, whose phases can be controlled by the order in which those regions are heated, as discussed by Cohen et al. [2008b, 2009]." http://vlf.stanford.edu/sites/default/files/publications/2009-14.pdf "Generating electromagnetic radiation at frequencies in the extremely low frequency and very low frequency (ELF/ VLF) range (0.330 kHz) is difficult because the long wavelengths require long antennas extending tens of kilometers. Natural ionospheric currents provide such an antenna if they can be modulated at the desired frequency. Getmantsev et al. [1974] first showed that ionospheric heaters can generate ELF/VLF waves by periodically heating the ionosphere with high-frequency (HF) radiation in the megahertz range." http://vlf.stanford.edu/sites/default/files/publications/2010-01.pdf "AbstractA new instrument has been developed and deployed for sensitive reception of broadband extremely low frequency (ELF) (de?ned in this paper as 3003000 Hz) and very low frequency (VLF) (de?ned in this paper as 330 kHz) radio signals from natural and man-made sources" The receiving stations in so many active fault areas would seem to indicate they are abnormally interested in being able to make sure they are directing energy to those areas. Why ... if they are not interested in the seismic results of such a concentration of VLF/ELF energy? Just another coincidence? So what is really needed is data in the VLF range from a number of these sites or areas. Not just near the HAARP or other transmitting points. Just being on the air means nothing. To prove a connection it is the target that matters not the position of the firing gun

Quinn... Not that I know of but I just saw this doppler radar link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bia9Xf2z8kk It may show far more. I'm not sure but I'm putting it up with my idea. To make sense of it may be necessary to understand the Stanford site information I just put up on the VLF RCVR sites. Especially about "Interferometry" But to just look for the patterns it does not require full understanding, just an eye for "checkerboards" :-) What he is showing here is the radar image of precipitation. That is the normal cloud patterns that move across the screen. But he has come up with those strange arcs that sweep across the country, opposite the rain movement. They are indeed something else. They seem to flow in arcs because they are at constant latitude, which looks like an arc on that map projection. They certainly are not weather related. They go the wrong way and way too fast. Could they be a computer artifact? Maybe. But if not I would think they are ZONAL SPHERICAL HARMONICS Why do i scream you say ? BECAUSE... this is perfect synchronisity!! In the comments to the photos I reposted my ideas on how HAARP targets specific areas. If you look at this site: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fprinciples.ou.edu%2Fearth_figure_gravity%2Fsingle_harmonics.jpg &imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fprinciples.ou.edu%2Fearth_figure_gravity%2Findex.html&h=654&w=876&sz=61&tbnid=qD7c4 3yT11_eEM%3A&tbnh=109&tbnw=146&prev=%2Fsearch%3Fq%3Dzonal%2Bharmonics%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoo m=1&q=zonal+harmonics&hl=en&usg=__NQjKyLWGZenmC3iFiCwwr5Qy25w%3D&sa=X&ei=ShuQTbmdCInQsAOixsWECQ&s qi=2&ved=0CE4Q9QEwCQ (which deals with something else but was the best picture I could find showing the ZSH on short notice) Follow the redirection, then scroll down to the "single harmonics" graphic. You will see in the left column at the bottom a sphere labled l=3 m=0. This shows 3 bands around the sphere like bands of latitude. As "L" increses you get more and more bands. If L were 60 you would see little narrow stripes going all around the world. Running a transmitter at a certain frequency on a sphere will produce these resonant patterns. The blue and red indicate the max positive and negative amplitudes. The line between those peaks is the zero amplitude point. So you have waves of energy going around the world that vary in intensity depending on latitude. But are constant with respect to longitude. It looks like this is what that radar is picking up. The latitudinal bands of VLF energy set up by "something". Now if you look over to the top right corner you will see a more complex pattern... l=10 m=5. In this pattern you see "spots" rather then "rings" the energy now varys with both longitude and latitude. So there are "hot" and "cold" spots all over the globe. But they are still evenly distributed. The cool part is if you have more then one transmitter you can disrupt this symmetry. It becomes possible to produce arbitrary patterns with enough transmitters working together. So you can produce one "hot" spot if you want. As opposed to the symmetrical patterns produced by one source. IE focus all the energy in one spot! Even better, because of the way HAARP works as a "phased array" it's beam can be steered so it can excite different areas of the ionosphere from it's one transmitter. So one HF transmitter can create several VLF "sources, or transmitters". Just a few HAARP like arrays could produce dozens or more "virtual" VLF transmitters. This would allow very tight focusing patterns to be produced. Which is the basis of the Stanford article on "interferometry" mentioned in the other post. SO it may be possible to see other more complex grid pattterns in the doppler radar plots. We may see checkerboard patterns, not just the simple latitudinal bands as they tune the HAARP! MAYBE even the focus point at a target. Since the bands would develope first, then the symmetric checkerboard, then the asymmetric checkerboard as more energy is directed to a specific point and they close in with the tuning, guided by the feedback from their array of VLF receivers. As they get the tight focus they want, then they boost the power. It might not be noticeable then because there may be no doppler radar in the area of interest where the final focus takes place. But the developeing pattern as they concentrate the energy would be obvious. This could be hot. The doppler radar may end up showing the VLF patterns in an even clearer manner then the data from a bunch of receivers.

Awesome thanks Roo - by the way, we are trying to map out all the HAARP (and other like facilities) around the world, not all of them are open for public scrutiny - but now that we know what their facilities (for the most part) look like we can use available civilian tech to find/track them. If I sent you a list of locations would that make things easier as far as mapping out the possible activation and pointing/targeting patterns?

Quinn Sysmith H.A.A.R.P site dark for almost a week now, I think they may have pulled it from the public domain. Even more suspicious considering it's suppose to be a harmless facility used to monitor the upper atmosphere. (I wonder if that means that tax payers don't have to pay for H.A.A.R.P any more (it's private sector now) or if it's just been recategorized as "national security" to prevent public scrutiny and monitoring)

I've been watching HAARP Alaska too. I think it's pretty safe to assume at this point that it's down because it's considered a national security issue. (Remember when the DOD seized BP's website after the GOM spill?) There have been too many "pundits" who are predicting that the US is going to "strike" Japan "again". Since it's seismically active anyways, and likely to shake again - whether induced or not - it is my belief that they don't want to have any data available for the public to scrutinize.
